    Waratahs 2013

Has it been confirmed the tour is going ahead? I was told the Tahs were planning to go over to Argentina for some warm up matches against the Pumas before the Rugby Championship. The team will probably be made up of non-Wallaby 2014 contracted players plus some guys from the Shute Shield =>...

So the account wasn't "hacked" this time? ;)

SFS current capacity is 45,500. The Tahs have contractual agreement to play two games out at the Olympic Stadium plus any home finals. The contracts runs until the end of either 2014 or 2015. For this, the Tahs received around $1.3mil in 2013. Many people don't like going out to Homebush...

    Lions Tour 2013

^ Considering the ARU's finances, maybe the Wallabies could have asked for the gear? Anyway, the Wallabies can always head out to Campbelltown to train and take advantage of the equipment. As Izzy is from out that way, he can show them around or how to get there.

The Australian Indigenous Education Foundation and its partner school, St Gregory's at Campbelltown (NSW) are the new owners of the Lions' training gear from the tour, including a scrum machine! Photo from AIEF's Facebook page - Arthur from St Greg's and Brian O'Driscoll at the presentation...

Thanks for your thought Ado. Let's see if you are on the money come round one in 2014! :)

    Waratahs V Reds July 13 2013

He kicked the match winner against the Blues this year, but hasn't done much goal kicking at other times. It's probably something for him to work on for next season with Barnes gone and McKibbin unlikely to be the starting 9 with the arrival of Phipps. KB (Kurtley Beale) will probably be the number 1 kicker.

    Rebels 2014

Why do you say that Beale will be Cheika's first choice 10? I can't imagine Foley and his management would have re-signed with the Tahs without discussing what his role would be in the event KB (Kurtley Beale) returned to the Tahs. Besides, Foley has knocked the Rebels back once already. ;)

Competition - Link's top priority with the Wallabies

I felt a sense of deja vu reading your post as your sentiments were similar to those being mentioned when Cheiks was appointed to the Tahs head coach role at the end of last year. It's coming together for the Tahs and you can see the results from the change. I hope Link can bring about the same...

Link to a profile on the Tahs recently appointed GM of Commercial and Marketing (too long to quote): http://sportsbusinessinsider.com.au/features/profile-marcus-bennett/ I am surprised they didn’t find a suitable Australian for the role. It will be interesting to see how he goes. Don’t hold...

Australia v British & Irish Lions, 3rd Test (Sydney)

Full credit to the Lions for a comprehensive win and demolishing the Wallabies scrum. It was sad to see the Wallabies employ some of the inane kicking used by the Tahs last year. If there ever was a silver lining, Deans will finally be shown the door. As for talk of Chieka being a candidate...
