Super Rugby 2017: matches not involving Australian teams

There's no argument about the laws. The problem is if we follow the rule book to the tee this game would be absolute garbage. Barrett literally made the tackle and rolled away instantly. The ball just got caught up in his feet. Why should that be carded? Do you think he would have been carded on...

Super Rugby 2017: matches not involving Australian teams

The crowds have been pretty dismal so far across all the finals. If we can't fill a stadium for the final, that shows how low this competition has sunk. Looking forward to next week. Normally I'd be supporting the Kiwi side but.. it is the Crusaders. Lions probably deserve one for the last two...

Super Rugby 2017: matches not involving Australian teams

Well no arguments, he definitely is. Most of the time he's wrong as well. He had another whinge tonight though he was right this time. Old mate reffy then watched a replay and admitted he got it wrong. They scored off the back of that.. The Lions also scored 17 points during that yellow card...

Super Rugby 2017: matches not involving Australian teams

Go ahead. Make an argument the Kiwis haven't fallen foul of some fucked decisions the last couple of months.

Super Rugby 2017: matches not involving Australian teams

Didn't happen all the time? No bloody shit. It's pretty bloody obvious the Kiwis have been getting absolutely rooted by 50/50's all year. You've obviously noticed the trend yourself.

Super Rugby 2017: matches not involving Australian teams

Highlanders kicking has been absolute garbage. They've been dodgy on receiving kicks. The line out and scrums are both weaker. In this weather it is a recipe for a loss. Send them back to Carisbrook for some practice.

Super Rugby 2017: matches not involving Australian teams

Just flat out stupid play 5m out. Why are you throwing 10 metre passes after every bloody ruck. Lets the defence spread out and it is bloody inevitable you'll spill one.

Super Rugby 2017: matches not involving Australian teams

Highlanders paying the price for not being able to take a bloody line out. They can't seem to kick it further than 30m either.

Still haven't seen a try yet.

Super Rugby 2017: matches not involving Australian teams

Wow, so Angus Gardner is literally giving fucking tries without seeing the ball grounded. Show me a fucking angle of the first try.

Super Rugby 2017: matches not involving Australian teams

So Gardner saw the ball get placed on the line, despite being on the other side of the ruck and having no line of sight.

The game of rugby is quickly turning into a joke.

    Brumbies v Hurricanes QF - Friday 21 July - 7:35pm

Fair point. He learnt that in Australia, he is tainted by 5 kick.

Is this why you Aussies miss so many tackles? ;) "Hey kids, make sure to only tackle with the arms. I know that shoulder might want to come with, but leave it behind. Lead with the fingers, start with a tickle, then the rest will work itself out."

    Brumbies v Hurricanes QF - Friday 21 July - 7:35pm

No arms? Come on, they're attached to the shoulder dude. It was a perfectly fine tackle technique wise. The dude just went from standing full length a foot above him to a foot below him after he planted his feet for the tackle. I simply cannot agree in the slightest that it was reckless. A...

    Brumbies v Hurricanes QF - Friday 21 July - 7:35pm

I understand the "mandate". I don't think any of you realise how ridiculous it's application is though. Just because someone gets a knock to the head shouldn't mean it's automatically a card. That collision was simply not foul play. He didn't "line him up" (despite the unbiased opinion of IS)...

Oh that old classic.. The kiwis get away with everything. Jackson with another howler against the Brumbies.

Oh ok.. Have any of you guys ever actually played a game of rugby?

    Brumbies v Hurricanes QF - Friday 21 July - 7:35pm

Yellow? It wasn't even a penalty. How the hell was THAT foul play? Has anyone ever heard of an accident? This is a contact sport. How are you going to play a game of rugby without that completely normal collision happening? They have truly lost the plot with these cards. For a man that played...

    They've just lost the plot.
