    Southern Inland Rugby 2016

Hey Jock, welcome to the forum mate, got time to post now you're not playing? :) If this is the case, that's a positive move by the Wagga Juniors. It's a catch 22 for them though isn't, the Friday night comp allows for the beer, cheese and chardonnay for an hour or so before the kids down a...

Gotta have a thick skin in these parts mate. You should hear what they're like to those wine salesmen from The Rock!

    Refereeing decisions

He had a very positive presence on the field during that game. I thought it was a big call to select him for Under 20's World Cup Final without Super Rugby experience, but he's obviously got it. It's also positive to see two up and coming guys in Will Houston and Angus Gardner coming through...

    Refereeing decisions

Not decision related, but just wanted to put a mention out there for Will Houston. Watched him referee the Brumbies v Horrortahs in Wagga last weekend and watched the live feed back again during the week. He's a great find for the ARU and should scale the heights of world rugby. His competition...

Hmm, that's an interesting move from the Juniors. Maybe just getting together early? Rep training? Very strange if it's the whole club!

    Pre-season Match Brumbies v Waratahs

Probably a few of the local league fans unloading as usual.... I thought he played well too.

    Pre-season Match Brumbies v Waratahs

Dave Dennis was boned very early on, resembled a starfish for a while there. He was moving around though not long afterwards. Waratahs did enough to get over the line, from where I was at the ground, the Cubelli To'omua combo was sweet, Zac Guildford was dangerous. Heat played a factor for...

I'm all for robust and lively debate, however the voices from Ag College baying for CSU blood need to reflect on the late nineties and early to mid 2000's (am i showing my age? :) ) when they were struggling to put two teams on the park. The word on the street at that time was that Aggies should...

I'm glad to hear you're still fine mate! My mail says there is a tournament on at Leeton, however not sure what the roll up is looking like at the moment. I think the focus is on the Brumbies trial at this stage with more information to follow after that.

    Southern Inland Rugby 2016

Hi everyone, let's give the whole CSU v Ag College thing a rest hey? It's been done to death on here and the past few posts about this topic have been nothing more than pot shots at each club. Keep it positive, there are plenty of other places you can bitch about how good/bad/indifferent a...

Your best bet would be to check out the club Facebook pages or their websites mate, generally things like trials are organised between clubs with existing relationships. I believe there is a trial tournament at Leeton this year and that the Cootamundra 10's tournament is also on. Not sure...

Righto folks, let's calm our farms and focus on the prep for the SIRU clash as the curtain raiser for the Brumbs. Anyone keen to tip either Redbacks or Rams? I hear there are some good games lined up for these guys in late Feb to look forward to.
