    Rebels 2019

I see it as a perfectly healthy thing for him to talk with other teams about coaching roles. The performance criteria in professional seem to be awfully tough, and you need to network so you can ensure long-term job security. That said, I'm glad he wants to stick around in Melbourne...

Well, that little rumour mill ended quickly. (no, I haven't read the article).

Sunwolves backrow. Leitch, McMahon, Mafi (assuming he's not in Jail). Potent.

Or forced rest periods during the 2019 Super Rugby season. I'd imagine Meakes and Hodge will be rested for some matches, so opens the door for him.

Yes, working for the sales team? Perhaps he can get into matchday and work Pipsqueak somehow into matchday entertainment. I thought he was still finishing off a Batchelors of Education (primary), so he may be on the rounds some day. Imagine that guy teaching your kids - so much fun!

Yea, saw that too. Reading between the lines sounds it sounds like he was asked to retire.

It's a very sad day in Melbourne rugby when the people's champ retires. Well done on a stellar career, Laurie. We will miss you.

CALLED IT!!!! Presser describes the relationship as a "partnership", i.e. no mention of sponsorship.

    Rebels 2019

I note that PwC isn't listed on the Partners page, but it appears Legacy Property group is no longer there. https://melbournerebels.com/partners/ Looks like ASIC are striking out LPG from the register. It's also noticeably absent from any of their kit...

Note the presser with Quade yesterday. Anyone see the new sponsor logo on the wall? Good times ahead?

Auckland Blues To Infinity and Beyond

Well, at least its one way to fix the Aussie hoodoo at Eden Park. Burn the place down.

Avoid Richmond, avoid Slim. Good life lesson.

Think we all need to remember that To'omua is unlikely to play in the 5-starts in 2019, given his club commitments. Unless Cheika really wants to see a few super games under his belt, I think he will be well managed going into the RWC. 2020 onwards, full steam ahead.

From Twittter: No press release to go with the announcement. I always find that weird. also, props to the graphic designer, who did his best to hide the fact Mangay isn't wearing Rebels kit. Shit, where do we put all these Queenslanders?

Auckland Blues To Infinity and Beyond

    Best one-liner ever!

Wallabies v All Blacks, Sat 27th October 4.45pm AEDT, Nissan Stadium, Japan

Mad Dog still recovering from his own injury. Probably wasn't ready for a call-up.

    Rebels 2019

    Press release.
