    Reds 2015

Fiji is one of those nations that still picks a large contingent of its players from its amateur domestic comps. I am sure any super team could unearth some real diamonds in the rough there

This make sense if they where watching Nadroga. As there No. 8 plays for the Fiji national team. His name is Nemani Nagusa and he is a MASSIVE rig. He has highlights on youtube, if you chaps want to look him up. Looks raw but could be an astute pick up.

Qld Country - official NRC thread

Also may I ask whatever happened to that big bopper Rory Arnold from the coast? Went and played curry cup end of last season and seemed to be in the rise and this year I haven't heard anything?

He impressed me at under 20s but not as much in premier grade. However he is still young

No Tom Vincent is from townesville and is about 21/20 years old. I believe he has always played there

Qld Country - official NRC thread

Well you can doubt as much as you want but your assumptions are ill informed. A lot of premier grade teams would be lucky to have players like jack finnigan, sonny power, and Tom Vinson running around for them. Finnigan was in the rope two try scoters for premier colts in 2013 & 2012. He also...

Qld Country - official NRC thread

Bitterly disappointed that none of the player who went in the qld country tour to nz got picked. Especially considering there is some bonafide talent in the group. However when your basically getting players to train and play for free it's hard to expect country players to travel

    Reds 2015

Well he has a contract of some description. I was told this year that he was signed in some capacity. Whether that was an eps contract for 2014 or a full squad one for next year, I am not sure.

    Reds 2015

My Intel tells me that Ready has an EPS contract. He was given one halfway through this year.

    Reds 2015

I think he looks like a player who would thrive in a pro environment. However my familiarity with him is limited to watching shute shield games and highlights via the ABC this year. Sometimes you see players who are already fast and strong from having worked extremely hard in the...

    Reds 2015

How many games did those to play though? Luafutu played 1 maybe, and Houston might of benched for a couple?

    Reds 2015

But that's my point you judging them on there time playing during 2008-2010 period. But what you may find interesting now is that Leeroy was named Bath player of the year last season in the Aviva Premiership, whilst Luafutu was nominated for Pro D2 player of the year in France with Brive...

    Reds 2015

We should take players form from those dark days with a grain of salt, as no one was playing consistent and good football. You only need to look at the heights a majority of the young brigade from those years have now reached to realise that it was just as much a culture and timing problem...

    Reds 2015

Now that Toua, Shipperley and Davies have left the Reds lack a genuine speedster. You could classify Turner as one but does he still have the same turn of pace after all his injuries? It seems we have gone from being all finesse and pace this season to all power and grunt next...

    Reds 2015

Harry Bergelin scored another hatrick from 6 on the weekend for Manly in the shute shield... I am telling you he is the answer to our prayers

They would be crazy not to hire someone from outside the QLD rugby circles. They need a CEO with no connections to anyone willing to come in and tear things down if need be.

    Western Force 2015

To be honest why would force pay top dollar to import playrs when they could pick up some homegrown young guns for cheap. Also I have heard that some of the saffa imports knocking around Perth premier grade aren't to shabby either.
