Wallabies v France, Paris, Sun 6th Nov 7am AEDT

The Wallabies always perform better without the lightweight Paisami in the midfield.

Man, I forgot about Marky & Frost and there's also Petaia I forgot as well, gee the Wallabies certainly have some decent competition building within the squad, will be especially intriguing once everyone comes back from OS/injury (Rodda, Kerevi, Cooper, etc...)

    The Wallabies might have a chance in 2023 if they select a team along the line of this... 01 – Slipper 02 – BPA 03 – AAA 04 – Rodda 05 – Arnold 06 – T.Hooper 07 – Samu 08 – Valetini 09 – White 10 – Cooper 11 – Koroibete 12 – Kerevi 13 – Ikitau 14 – Wright 15 – Kellaway 16 – Bell 17 – Porecki...

Wright (99kg) isn't small, he's one who actually brings some physicality to the backline in Marika's absence. Him and Kellaway are are quite a bit bigger than Banks, Wright 11, Kell to 15, Mark 14.

This would be my 15, outstanding selections, Rennie ought to heed your advice. I applaud your emphasis on size and physicality, which is just so imperative at test level.... (Hodge/Kellaway > Campbell, Nawaqanitawase over Banks, Foketi over Paisami, McDermott over White, that second-row...

I thought Simone (like Banks) wouldn't count as OS selection for EOYT as they were both playing in Super Rugby 2022.

Issac Henry, Irae Simone, Chris Feauai-Sautia, Joey Walton, Iziaia Perese to name a few, are all superior options IMO & Simone's currently still eligible for selection.

How did he get so over-rated in the first place? I distinctly think back to those Bledisoe tests last year, where he appeared so ineffective & lightweight at test level that he made his opposite 12 (Havili) look like Damien De Allende in comparison.

I would prefer to see Foketi at 12 as well. I don't rate Paisami at test-level, all I'm saying is that he isn't as effective at 12 vs 13. The Reds backline always functioned better with Hamish Stewart or Issac Henry at 12, Paisami 13.

Paisami isn't a 12. Jim McKay the Reds attack coach understands this, Rennie does not. All of his best performances have been in the 13 jersey - Adelaide, etc..

He almost had Frost too before McKellar convinced him into reneging his deal with Panasonic. so much relief there....

https://www.theroar.com.au/2022/10/30/wallabies-studs-and-duds-sub-who-rescued-the-game-star-backs-terrible-technique-complete-mess-moment/ Tucker said his stock falling from this match was centre Hunter Paisami. “He might not have been in the top three Australian centres this weekend,” Tucker...

The state of Australia's talent identification when someone like Riley is let through... it's disgraceful and unacceptable.

Wallabies v Scotland, Murrayfield, Sun 30th Oct, 3.30am AEDT

Riley is currently the best Australian centre in the world apart from Kerevi, he's 10x better than lightweight ineffective Paisami. Having watched him playing for Panasonic he looked made for test rugby, he's genuinely the real deal & will prove to be an enormous loss for Australian Rugby.

If only they hadn't let 102kg star Japan midfielder Dylan Riley slip through... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dylan_Riley_(rugby_union) If you thought Mack Hanson to Ireland was a great loss, Dylan Riley in Japanese colours will make you weep.

Wallabies v Scotland, Murrayfield, Sun 30th Oct, 3.30am AEDT

Yep & you'll notice it's the same problem with the backline - no effective ball carriers (Wright is the only player 97kg+)... No - Cooper, Kerevi, Koiroibete, Petaia, Hodge, and Wallabies have an extremely ineffective lightweight backline.

    Wallabies 2023

There is zero point in getting rid of Rennie since RA cannot afford the payout. I wouldn't mind if he fell on his sword though if the Wallabies only win against Italy & then RA hires Jake White. White's focus on basics, defense, keeping it simple and using the strengths of the players to...

    Wallabies 2023

Don't get your hopes up. Rennie tends to give players a start then cast them aside after concluding they're not good enough... all from the evidence of one single game.

    Wallabies 2023

Rennie isn't quite as acclaimed in NZ, many remain skeptical of his true ability considering Wayne Smith was de-facto Chiefs coach in 2012/13. Professor's influence was enormous across the team and he was directly responsible for strategy and game planning. Chiefs finished 1/15, 1/15 with Smith...

    Wallabies 2023

Robbie Deans had such an army of assistant coaches, it's hard to see what he contributed. Nuicifora, McGahan, Blades, Shrivener, Williams, Blake, Noriega, van Straaten, etc.
