    Wallabies 2018 Spring Tour

i wasnt aware jake white was considered a "vibe/motivational" coach

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

What would a jake white inspired line up look like? Would there be any changes at all? I think he would bring Fardy back at the very least, possibly even try and get mowen back somehow - I don’t know if I’m right but I seem to remember him not worrying if players played domestically or overseas

Did it very dangerously most of the time too from memory, pretty much launched his body at the kickers kneecaps

    Wallabies 2018 Spring Tour

Why Lancaster? He doesn’t seem to have a great deal of experience coaching at the top level especially for what we need, and has fairly mixed results. I’d be getting jake white as head wallabies coach, Laurie fisher as forwards coach, Les Kiss defensive coach, no idea who you’d get for attack...

    Wallabies v Wales (Cardiff)

I’m very critical of referees and hardly noticed his presence during the game. Let the game flow where possible, was fairly consistent and for the most part made good decisions. Was great to see

Even if that is 100% true, which I don’t particularly agree with; these are National level players and I’d like to think they have better reaction times and execution than your average NRL half. New Zealand have a great short kicking game, I think it’s actually under-utilised by them. If Ma’a...

Yep NRL players do short kicks left, right and centre weekly and rarely get charged down. Like everything else it is a lack of practice and poor execution by the wallabies

there's nothing stopping him from getting picked though is there?

I just can't get around that statement, nearly every single time I've had a friend faced with this decision they've chosen league and it has never been for the money

    Wallabies v Wales (Cardiff)

i was amazed at how many times we went in to contact upright or did one out hitups with no support. Thats not a talent issue, yes the players should know better but its the coaches job to address such easily fixable things

Yep, I just had a mate participate in a NRL talent combine having finished up playing u20’s this year, while he did very well he didn’t pick up a pro contract, instead he got signed to a nsw cup side and trains with the NRL side twice a week. This kid desperately wanted to play union, but...

Well neither of us will ever know so kinda a moot point isn’t it

Each to their own, any other day we would’ve converted one of those chances into a try

    Wallabies v Wales (Cardiff)

I guess the upside is we played like absolute shit and still nearly won, Wales have absolutely nothing not really worried about playing them at the World Cup at all Simmons and Hanigan really showed they shouldn’t be there, both directly responsible for that last penalty that put Wales in...

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Sorry I’m a bit of a novice when it comes to broadcasting technology, did you mean you can chromecast it at all yet?

It’s also the prestiege of being aligned with a professional team, signed to the roosters sounds a hell of a lot better than being in a junior gold cup squad. If you sign with a league club there is a direct pathway into a 1st grade squad, whereas gold cup you not only have to be the best in...

^^^100% correct, just about every player I know that’s had offers from both league and union has chosen the league pathway and it sure as hell wasnt because of the money, although it’s a really good silver lining

For all his shortcomings he does have a good passing game and can put someone into a hole, with that many big/fast bodies in the team I think he is serviceable in his role
