Worth remembering that many schools are now diversifying the sports that they offer. Football and AFL have made in roads where some schools have more soccer that rugby teams while 10 years ago there was a very small soccer crowd.

Perhaps it indicates the state of rugby administration in NSW school boys that their is little to no publicity etc. I feel for the workers on the ground who run the competition.

Doesn't say much if Waverly beat St Pat or Trinity if Auggies are reputed to have put 80 on Waverly.

Educational pathways are grea for kids as Scythe suggests in particular circumstances. Many boys are too old to play in some school / state ( Waratah Shield) based competitions in their 3rd year so sit out the school games anyway. It does help them educationally.

Is there not a rule about how much time there should between boys playing two collision games? Saturday for school and Sunday for Village is within 72 hours. Or is it different because one is school and the other village?

Just out of curiosity. How many boys play rugby on a Saturday in the variuos school boy competitions .i.e CAS etc compared to the villages?

I read on the ISA site that there is a small competition called the penninsula cup in the Manly area could that be developed.

The interesting thing about that numbers issue is where are they? Is there only one private school in the area with saturday rugby for the school.?

ISA Div 1 seems ok as is. Maybe drop 1 school to Div 2 to get rid of the Bye. 6 teams is not ideal but it works with AAGPS and CAS. ISA Div 2 seems ok as is. Maybe drop All Why not add one?
