Continued decline in Sydney Junior Rugby

Perhaps kids get put off when they look at how teams are selected for National honours and say perhaps league and AFL have a better system

I hear that is true but a suggested 30 to 5 penalty count seems excessive. Yellows were in 1st XV

Schoolboy Rugby - Gods, Monsters & Other Creatures

Of the coaches mentioned here only one is at a school that moved from strong Rugby League culture to a strong Rugby Union culture. If you view the other thread about the decline in school boys rugby then Papahatzis must be doing a great deal right

Look at Hugh Jarses 1st post and at least two schools ( Auggies and Stannies) should have well defined teams. Auggies may also have some League players who didn't rep at ISA as mentioned in other threads one being Hopoate

    Waratah Shield/Cup 2015

Agree with much of the above comments. Auggies have been slow to start in many games this year often being scored against early in the game. As it was this time. Worth noting that coaches made a tactical change at half time where they replaced both the strating centre with Lough and Hopoate...

Can't recall the players name. Big deal in USA where he was a kicker and when the opposition runners broke through after a punt kick. He was the last line and he tackled the running back. Unheard off.

Do all the trips from the mountains have to be all the way? What if St Gregs was playing Stannies could not Pius play at St Greg's grounds that weekend against Kinross?
