NSW 1 38 - defeat NSW 2 24 NSW 1s were up 38-0 at half time but the 2s came back in a tough contest. Schools team should be announced any minute now Wasn't there but heard QLD drew 26 all. QLD 1s scored in the bell to level it up after being down all game

Australian Schoolboys & National Championships 2014

Sorry about that ! Agree with the Tepai comparison, the try he scored yesterday was similar to a few scored at Stanmore last year with numerous defenders bumped out of the way. He did pick up an injury but as said previously the tour isn't until November although if he doesn't play tomorrow that...

Australian Schoolboys & National Championships 2014

I think Rudolph has been really strong as has Hewatt apparently. Massive fan of Woodhill but Anderson is a fair choice. Crichton certainty. I rate Prichard over Lough but have heard good things about Yeomans aswell, Fittock good aswell. Fair changes

Australian Schoolboys & National Championships 2014

From what I've seen which mainly involves NSW 1 and 2, QLD 1 and ACT plus from what I've heard id say: 1. Gavin Luka (QLD 1) 2. Alex Mafi (QLD 1) OR Ed Craig (NSW 1) 3. Vuni Fifita (NSW 1) 4. Toby Rudolph (NSW 1) 5. ??? James Lough (NSW 2) has been a workhorse 6. Angus Crichton (NSW 1) 7. Jum...

Despite being a Norths junior and having an Easts background, I'm fairly confident Crichton will be at Randwick next year

NSW Schools - Trial Games and Selections 2014

I think if Stiles (10) and Smith (8) were not injured they would have been picked, Girdler (6) also picked up an injury yesterday although don't know if that's the reason for his non selection

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2014

Was at Knox for plenty of games today (missed most of the ISA vs CAS game) but a few comments: The GPS 2s would feel unlucky, downpour started as the walked out and effective the game pretty badly in terms of handling. No real standouts from GPS 3s who went down, although Emery (Shore 9) was...

Connor Watson from Knox, was impressive when I saw him play Joeys but would not pick him to have it over Hutch! Sadly he has signed with the Roosters for next year

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2014

GPS 1s 34-25 over CAS is what I have heard. Joeys winger Tom Wright with two great tries, captain Angus Crichton was the star along with Wright, McGregor and Girdler. My mail tells me that the GPS centres England and Hutchinson were totally outplayed, very unusual to hear that! GPS 2s 65-17 over...

One Joeys boy from a team that has, in my memory, won the comp for the last 3 years. Interesting

Would definitely back GPS 2's over the GPS 1's side especially in the forwards. IMO the Scots forwards are benefiting from the structure that they play with and I would not rate many of them over their opposition in GPS 2's, however two 50+ wins in a row is a far assessment. The 2's front row...

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2014

Solid win for Joeys who got off the a great start leadinf 17-0 after 15 minutes. Shore fought back but in the end Joeys put it away late 34-19. Strong performances from Horton, Duffy, O'Shea, McCutcheon, McDonnell and Wright. From Shore Woodhill, Emery and the 6 looked good. Joeys fullback Tom...
