Faesslar didnt really offer anything more than Porecki has? Porecki is probs still first choice thrower and has certainly gotten better in contact over this test window. Faesslar was no doubt good on debut but didnt show anything to be starting him over Porecki yet.

Although the quality of footy from Div 2 to Div 3 hasnt looked that different bar Lindfield, UNSW maybe and some performances early by Newport, I cant see any of the div 3 clubs doing well in Div 2. Because, numbers.

Its suprising to me that our players would be unfit... didnt the changes to super rugby this year (time limits on scrums, penalty kicks etc) mean we had more time in play and a faster game. Surely our players should have seen some benefit in this? Maybe another reason the Aussies struggled...

It certainly has been suggested. I agree it is great that he has shown versatility off the bench which makes him a much more viable option on the bench if we are going with 6-2. The more runs off the bench he gets at international level at this stage, the better!

Off the bench is a completely different ball game as you cant have a specialist for each position so having players that can play across 2 or more positions is important. Happy to play Gordon at 12 off the bench like last game if needed. Same with Kemeny out on the wing. This is why Hodge is an...

Not a fan of just putting blokes on the field out of position, "cause they're good". He was MVP at 10 not at 12 or 13 or 6 or 3. We need the best combination of players with the best game plan suited to those players. Not necessarily the best 15 individual players.
