Who do people actually want to win?

Well there may not be in your part of town but I can assure you there is in RSA. So there IS indeed dispute about past RWCs.... especially the early 'selection process'. You are more than entitled to dismiss controversy and conspiracy, but I do find Rugby and its history all very colourful...

Who do people actually want to win?

. That might be what you like to think and it is what I would like to think. But, the fact stands that there are question marks over anyone claiming to be world champs when one of the greatest ruby nations did not play. I have had good debates and see sound arguments from both sides. Yes...

Who do people actually want to win?

Did you notice that I have not made any mention of AUS winning for a third time? While what you say in your post does count in the eyes of the ABs and Wallabies... in the eyes of the world there are question marks. Our friendly rugby friends from South African naturally put up good arguments...

Who do people actually want to win?

    1. Wallabies 2. Wales - never won before 3. ABs - never won before. 1987 - I don't care if it is engraved on BILL as it DOES NOT COUNT because RSA were not there and you can not say you are the BEST when such a powerful rugby nation as RSA unable to compete for political reasons. I would...

    RWC 2011 - Quarter final 3 : Springbokke v. Wallabies CLOSED

Yes, if the lineouts start to fall apart many of us will be tapping our foot waiting for Sharpe. But while we talk of use of the Bench, the physicallity of this game will no doubt see Dingo have IRB substitute rule (3.12(a)) in the front of his mind.

    RWC 2011 - Quarter final 3 : Springbokke v. Wallabies CLOSED

The Breakdown in modern rugby has proved essential, hence why so many Breakaways win man of the match. However, I don't believe that a coach should risk weaken one part of a game (lineout) to strenghten another; the breakdown. They should both be treated with the utmost respect by selectors...
