Wallabies v Scotland, Murrayfield, Sun 30th Oct, 3.30am AEDT

I wish I had been a whole lot better than I was.

    Waratahs 2023

And we will, it is just a matter of time. I hope.

Australia A v Japan XV matches

Players don't get picked because "they deserve it". They get picked because they fit into the coach's game plan.

    Skelton's not available.

    Wallabies 2023

I was not talking about my opinion, simply commenting that I have not seen his name anywhere in the media.

    Wallabies 2023

Interesting to note that Daugunu's name has not been mentioned

My understanding is that Koro had family reasons as well as the money. As far as RA's culpability is concerned, what do you suggest for the "guilty" party? A spell in the stocks?

If he cannot play Tests there is not much point picking him unless he is there to carry the oranges at half-time.

The big Pone misses out? Injured or just not good enough??

Australia A v Japan XV matches

Speaking as an onlooker, maybe the answer is to do both, if you have the speed. Don't commit to either option in the hope (expectation?) that the cover defence will get across in time.

Australia A v Japan XV matches

You might be right. However I would prefer a no 2 with some bulk. If he wants to retain his speed he might need to consider playing in the backrow.

Australia A v Japan XV matches

He looked good in attack for the first 20 or 30 minutes.

    Wallabies 2023

Looked bad enough to put him out of action for a while. Layman's perspective, I hasten to add!

    Wallabies 2023

The Saffers seem to manage the challenge pretty well.

    Wallabies 2023

That's what the Sydney Morning Herald thinks, too.

    Shute Shield 2023

A bit of sad news. Ross Latham, who holds the Woodies record for First Grade appearances (391) has passed away.

Australia A v Japan XV matches

I cannot see him there. He has had a lot of work to do to learn how to play on the wing, frankly.

Australia A v Japan XV matches

I agree, but depending on who is fit and available, Edmed could be on the plane, too.

Australia A v Japan XV matches

He has played 12 for the Woodies. He is pretty robust, no reason why he couldn't at the higher level. According to the stats I could find, he is 8 kgs heavier than Donaldson.
