    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Pumas @ Townsville 25/09

What does that actually mean? Because the reality is that no two players journey to test rugby or team selection is the same. All that really matters is if the coaches see him as the best option for the test match weighing up the player mix and the opponent. Obviously there’s a few factors there...

    TRC2021 - All Blacks v Springboks @ Townsville 25/09

Even a stuff up on the team sheet! That was the test where Mealamu was named on the team sheet but Coles started! One of the great team performances. Kieran Read in beast mode and running like a centre. Barrett’s chase down and try saver, Messam prominent, 2 AB YC’s, Gear playing like an extra...

If McMahon gets through a good couple of training sessions then he should play at blindside. Get 50-60 minutes out of him and then bring on Pete Samu.

    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Boks @ Suncorp 18/09

Excellent performance Wallabies. Well done and enjoy it cobbers. Quade’s defence was excellent. Iki, Kerevi and Koro very good. Tupou, Hooper immense. Boks sheesh that was ugly

    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Boks @ Suncorp 18/09

Surprised at the calls to drop/rotate Valetini. I thought he had a huge game on the weekend and did what most had wanted from him that we didn’t see consistently against the ABs. He carried well, tackled hard, made few if any errors, cleaned out when required. Added some starch to the pack...

RC - Wallabies vs Springboks, Gold Coast Sunday 12 September 8:05 PM

He is a very good ref, but that last 10 or so minutes almost had stitch up written all over it. Some of the calls and non-calls in the Boks favour had me thinking gold Rolex’s….

I thought Iki played well. Was robust in defence which is what is needed when the Boks play bash ball. Keep Tate to start as there is potential there with Quade. Agree with Swain coming in.

And he wasn’t getting great distance, so definitely something to work on. A bit of kick protection for those box locks may have helped Tate a bit too… Just on clearances, it was pretty telling that the Boks would rather have their 1st 5 standing extremely deep to clear the ball. I don’t think...

RC - Wallabies vs Springboks, Gold Coast Sunday 12 September 8:05 PM

I thought Tate put the team under a bit of pressure with his stalling. The hands on the ball at the base is taking the proverbial. One of the real blights on the game right now. Faf is bad too. White looked sharp when he came on, but he may want to lose the angry pills. The histrionics of...

Congrats Wallaby fans. Well deserved win. Quade played with great composure and was assured. Brilliant goal kicking 8-8. Valetini superb. Kerevi just tireless in attack (how many ball carries?) Like the look of the new young replacement hooker. Did some good things out there without getting...

I hear what you’re saying Kenny on Noah, but with the AB defensive set up David Havili topped the tackle count because he was defending in the one of the busiest channels by design. David is a very good defender. When Beaudie plays 1st 5 they tend to have him drop back or move wider out.

I hear George Smith was seen down at Broadbeach and happened to bump into Quade and Greg (Holmes) who were throwing the footy around for a bit of fun.

I’m no tech head so don’t know the first thing about what has gone into the new forum, but am really liking the new mobile functionality. A far cry from TYS circa 2007  Well done to the crew behind the keyboard.

Hope you’re holding up okay in Sydders mate. They’re always intriguing test matches between the Boks and Wallabies especially those played in Australia.

How bad was Noah in that play? Not sure what he was doing/thinking, other than not going in for a tackle.

The way Ardie is used is pretty similar to the way Henry used Rodders at no.8. Let’s not forget Ardie has played more no.8 in the last 2 and a bit years at super and test level than he has played openside. Right now he’s our best attacking no.8 off the base of a scrum. Jacobsen is a toiler and...

Transition from ruck out past first receiver looks disorganised. Not sure a lot of communication is happening from your halfback and 1st 5. Forward attack is one dimensional, no variation from ball runners. Shame about Paisami not scoring because that was a good play.
