    Reds 2022

I honestly thought the Reds did right on how they were bringing Carter through the system. Made him play plenty of QPR, didn't bring him into the Reds too early to allow him to focus on building a good foundation. Tom Lynagh has pretty much replaced Mason Gordon, so we're a few years behind...

    Reds 2022

Mafi must be close to returning? He posted a Rocky-esque training montage on the start of the Month showing he was back on the weights. Thankfully Richie returned at the right time. Zane should be covered by Taniela and Feao, but we're a bit buggered if either of them need a break. Henry has...

Hurricanes v Reds Sat 23rd April

But according to some posters here, Thorn etc feel Henry is the next messiah and happy to toss Stewart ;) Happy to be proven wrong with Creighton, I'm sure Stewart, Hunter and Jocks ball playing ability will help them slot into first receiver alot and take on some of the burden.

With Bryce leaving last year, same with Carter both our back up and third string went. They recruited Lynagh but never replaced a Bryce (right or wrongly). Would be a great spot for one of either Harrison, Donaldson or Edmund to fill to be honest.

Sigh - the Gordon and Lucas departures really hurting us when James is out.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

I'm bored of playing against the Brumbies who have one play style; milk a penalty, get banks to boot it to the 5m line and then cheese it up over the chalk line with a maul. Looking forward to seeing how a non-hung over Reds and Brumbies go against the Kiwis this year.

Rebels v Reds Friday 15 April

We get cranky with players when they take contracts to other teams for "not showing loyalty", but somehow it's a problem the Reds and RA have shown 'loyalty' and 'faith' in someone they perceive has having talent?

32k turned up to the Gabba to watch the Lions and the Pies on Thursday night though.......

    Wallabies 2023

Nice teams Reg. Only changes I would make is for JOC (James O'Connor) into the 23. With Hunter there, we don't have anyone that can play 10 if Quade goes down. I'd also bring Smith into starting with Blyth in the A team. They've been the best pairing in Aus this year and compliment each other.

TT - speaking from experience, the 'day bed' the Mater gives you will be more uncomfortable than 80 minutes worth of scrums against the poms! Thankfully the Mater is just down the road from Suncorp, he could be in and out between feeds!

Makes sense for Zane to start and it's not just a player management perspective, but allows for Zanes development to continue so in the event TT actually gets injured were not throwing a completely green tight head to the wolves. With how reluctant they are to play Gordon, surely he's...

Add in the constant drink driving bullshit and I can't take any journo or pundit that tries to write or talk about why Rennie should be using one of the coverted spots on bringing Latu in.

Inversely, I get mates who push back on going to Suncorp because drinks/food there cost an arm and a leg. I reckon you could go back 20 years ago when Suncorp was finished being built and the only new beer they've started serving is Great Northern......

Without any stats to back it up, I'd be putting money on Jordan currently being in the top 5 tackle busts of Super Rugby Pacific this year.

Sheeesh QC (Quade Cooper) is the streakiest kicker I've ever watched. I'd say JOC (James O'Connor) is a more consistent kicker. QC (Quade Cooper) had that fantastic game against the Boks to win it, but was horrendous the week after.

Is there meant to be something more about that article? The headline paints the picture that 'pedantic' Refs are killing the game. But the issue Latham is cranky about was actually fine by the Ref. It was the citing commissioner who pulled it up. Feels like a half baked article?

You could also speculate that more and more people don't rely on FTA to consume content any more and who actually has the recording boxes these days. It's what $20-$24 a month for Stan + Stan Sport. I'd probably say, FTA is doing so poorly because people can justify spending $24 a month...

    Round 7 Reds v Brumbies, Suncorp Stadium 2/4 @ 6:45pm AEST

I don't see the problem the Clarke yellow. He wasn't in a position to gather that ball and it could have resulted in try for the Reds. It's fine to make those attempts to intercept but put both hands out.

    Round 7 Reds v Brumbies, Suncorp Stadium 2/4 @ 6:45pm AEST

Sheeesh some bruising tackles that game has live. I really thought the Brumbies were going to turn the screws on us when we had that red card. History meant wed expect to see the Brumbies forgo the 3 and maul it but the defence by the Reds there was incredible. The entire forward pack really...

Why wasn't Swain sent packing for leaving his feet at the same ruck?
