The replacements in 2nds & 3rds must come from previous games though? ie they can't be fresh replacements? Or is this only in Grade?

Are you sure @HughJarse that this is the selection for Australian Universities team? It's a very laid back competition. Wouldn't the national university team be selected from University Games held in middle of the year?
