    Rebels 2021

Yeah, we always sing Willy Wonka songs when we see him - he has this young Gene Wilder look to him. Well, it keeps the GMR household amused (doesn't take much at the moment)! Still, would tone that down (a bit) if he headed south.

Super Rugby AU - Semi Final - Reds v Reb

I'm more relaxed about this match than the one against the Force. I'm not saying I think the Rebs will win it, but the pressure of trying to make finals made the experience last Saturday less than enjoyable. That weight is off now and I will enjoy this match regardless (unless it is really close...

    Rebels 2020

It’s important psychologically for the Rebels. Now they have made finals they know they can in future. Wish the same thing happened with a win in South Africa. That boat has now sailed, unfortunately.

And Beale will just punch our captain. Again.

Super Rugby AU Round 10 - Rebels v Force, 3.00pm AEST Sat 5th September

It was primarily to get more product for the broadcasters.

Well done on getting the job done Rebs! Geez, you really did take it down to the wire and win by the minimum 4! You will be the death of me! Onwards!

Super Rugby AU Round 10 - Rebels v Force, 3.00pm AEST Sat 5th September

It looks like that but then the Brumbies seem to manage with that OK. Perhaps their cattle are better at adapting and are on board with the game plan.

Yes, I thought backrow reserve was a bit thin.

Super Rugby AU Round 10 - Rebels v Force, 3.00pm AEST Sat 5th September

Regardless of whether 3 top teams from 5 making finals is too many, at least the top team going straight to the final rewards the best team from the Hone and Away season. It has meant most teams have been in the race for the entire comp and that makes it more interesting than I thought it might be.

Magnay must be made of fine china.

And if the Force had made the finals this year? Yeah, top two does make more sense. I think RA were just trying to get the most out of the comp as they could to satisfy their broadcast partners. Better than NZ, though - no finals is just a letdown IMO.

I too am lacking confidence about this match. Looking at the past match-ups, even if we sneak over the line, it may not be by enough. Imagine missing out by one for and against point. That would be a Rebels thing! Time for the Rebels to become a bunch of arrogant bastards!

Your happiness is important to me, so yes. It’s based on the final, final score.

Super Rugby AU Round 10 - Rebels v Force, 3.00pm AEST Sat 5th September

The Melbourne Rebels “host” the Western Force in Newcastle (pronounced New-car-sal if you are from NSW). The Rebels must beat the Force by at least 4 points if they are to make the playoffs. The Force are yet to win in Super Rugby AU and would love to make this their first and deny the Rebels...

    Rebels 2021

Jury is out on Deegan. Costly errors and not as accurate as he was against the Brumbies. We might have got lucky with a couple of tries, but that evens out the stupid Matt Phillip Yellow. Yes we were warned but hardly offenses in quick succession like the Tahs did. The ref was being a modern-day...

Unless it's the 2014 Rising team who got a (winning) bonus point in every regular season game.

    Rebels 2020

I came up with pretty much the same. As Dctarget says - it’s awfully familiar, which is a worry. They need to go in with a winning mindset v the Tahs (because they will be). Better to win this one than having to throw everything at the final match against the Force a week out from finals...
