Knock on just there from read at the lineout, a complete inability it seems to give the wallabies a shot at the ruck and an overall incomeptency in understanding what is serious (i.e. shoulder charges) and weak (i.e. holding someones boot).

Peiper having a fucking shocker. WHat an absolute joke of a referee. How the hell is that worth a penalty?

Cannot stand peiper. One of those 'im bigger than the game' refs. Hooper all over smith.

Yeh having watched rugby hQ tonight I'm fairly sure he didn't have anything strapped... But I could be blind. That strapping tape blends in well.

Hmm I mustve been blind... Looking at the youtube videos I cant see any strapping. He doesn't seem too bothered? Played the whole season. May have lost a little pace but I guess thats to be expected.

Agree with this. I thought that wouldve been one change that wouldn't have impacted things too much.

What makes you think he has le injury?

Where did we go wrong? Wallaby Recovery thread.

Yeh I think thats a fair point on his weaving (that was lilo as Richo pointed out). But I also reckon it's part of the way he plays the game. At his best you do often see him hold onto the ball longer than a traditional 10 because it's his speed and footwork than can commit even 3 players and...

Simmons isnt a number 8??? Thats like me comparing Luke Romano to Michael Hooper, apples and oranges. What's your point? Second Rowers aren't renowned for their ball handling skills bud. Sharpie was hardly an artist with ball in hand. Rarely passed the ball in fact. Don't really know what you're...

Fair call. Still saw the Quade errors, not denying that. But he definitely made us look more dangerous when he came on. Him and white worked quite well in speeding up the decision making too. Fuck, can Genia just get over this stupid slow ruck ball shit and pass it? It's plagued him at the reds...

Come on mate... Lay off the stereotypes would you? As most have pointed out here, Simmons was one of the best forwards in the match behind hooper and on par with Moore. Slipper following close behind. All 4 of them got through a mountain of work. You can't bring in Speight, he's ineligible...

ANother observation: I think Link was really puttng faith in the brumbies kicking game when it came to clearing and penalties. Mogg is usually so effective and can get up to 40-50m off a kick like Latho used to. It just didnt happen on the night, probably because mogg didnt want to screw up...

Pfitzy I (reluctantly) agree with that team. Genia scored the try, yes, but what the fuck is up with his decision making at the breakdown. It's gone to shit this year and he slows the ball down at the stupidest times. He is undoubtedly the most dangerour 9. in the world with ball in hand but...

Izzy also needs to inject himself much much more. He struck me as somewhat lazy tonight. JOC (James O'Connor) was obviously making the effort and calling for the ball and getting stuck in (in attack anyway). I also though our short passing game and shuffle across field really limited the chance to get him the...
