If I’ve read this right looks like Stannies have really lost their depth in 15s and 16s which is a shame. Used to have 4-5 teams right through the age groups. Good day for Oakhill. Gap between country and city continues to grow unfortunately.

Key injuries and limited depth, particularly in forwards have hurt. While you’ll never diminish the jersey would not be surprised to see some new faces before season end to prep for next year where on paper they have half a dozen game breakers and should be favourites.

I’m a fan of the Kings seconds 10 but didn’t think today his strongest game. For the possession and territory we struggled to unlock the defence and while I love a running 5/8 he took it into contact too much when better options available and he ain’t that big.

With the debate around GPS team ramping up I thought Kings 9 was exceptional today. Obviously a lot of front foot ball helps but his decision making, kicking and defence are exceptional. Still takes a step at times when passing but not the worst sin out there.

Yeah a bit tough on Kings 15. Scots 12 had a high pass and jumped to collect it. He went over top of Kings 15. Looked terrible but wasn’t much he could do about it.

Everyone is dealing with injuries so I do not think there will be an ounce of 'hollowness' to whoever lasts the distance

As a TKS follower 16s is not our strongest age group, few will get in aside from those already playing opens (imo). 15s much stronger. Mind you at least they’ve won a couple this year, they’ve been a pretty lean age group since year 7. Not sure if any new blood has been ‘injected’ recently.

He’s very good, size only issue but would hold his own in 1’s

Absolute balltearer between View and Kings, very high quality footy. Can go either way and View are considered fitter. Kings up 19-12 HT
