French Rugby - This is rather amusing.

Nearly as many Saffers as Frenchies. 10 by my count.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Still need to scrummage and win line outs. Without wining your set piece you can't win anything. I don't think it would get rid of the big men, you could just use them in 20min halves. Not using the 9 as a 9 would get rid of the smallest man on the park.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I'm not advocating for big changes. No one kicks penalties in the NRC so that's fine by me. Basically timing mechanisms like you mention. I'd also be interested to see what effect allowing the bench to be used as interchange would do for the game. Surely could only speed the game up. And maybe...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

NRC is the future. It needs to be the ARUs goal to get every game onto FTA as soon as possible. We need to make it our own Big Bash. Australia can control it and set out own rules to make the game more attractive to new fans. I know the traditionalists will scream, but fuck it. We don't have the...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

The most telling thing to come out of the last week is the complete radio silence from the ARU. After the Rebels and Force, forcefully made apparent their contractual assertions the ARU have gone into hiding. I know most people want this resolved urgently, but as a Force fan I suspect the...

    Force v Chiefs - Round 8 2017

Chiefs first try from an obstruction, but ref doesn't check it even though Hodgson tells him.

    Round 9: Waratahs v Kings

As a fan of knee jerk reactions against coaches, I look forward to the inevitable "full support of the board" next week. Kind of feel sorry for Darryl, he had his head in his hands at 72mins. He knew what was coming, but I knew before the game, so maybe they should make me coach.

    Round 9: Waratahs v Kings

Not yet, the Rebels and Force fans will wave to you when you get here.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

How they might assist the ARU...... eating a bag of dicks.

    Western Force 2017

It's really hard to tell. So many dynamics at play. On one hand you have a new government who have publicly come out and supported the Force staying. On the other hand the state is broke as we have to give all of our GST revenue away. You would imagine a new government would like a public win to...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

It's going to be fucking hilarious. The Force are going to have $10M and a huge group of committed supporters behind them as the ARU are still going to have to bone the Force because it's their only play. Showing this absolute farce of a process as the sham it is.

WA was so thankful they took Nick Jooste off our hands. Identifying all our unwanted players.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Chucking your toys out of the cot and your team isn't even on the chopping block. Imagine how we Force and Rebels supporters feel. And it's not parochialism for parochialism sake. We're fighting for our survival. Seems like a few of you would like us to just lay down and die quietly to make...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

And that comes down to wether the ARU is a business or guardian of the sport. While it's important that they get the financial side correct so they don't bankrupt the sport, there are more considerations that must me made so they can fulfil their key reason for existing which is shepherding the...

But it is an important metric to show fan engagement and market penetration. Basically, the Rebels have neither.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

In fairness to the Brumbies, crowd figures should be judged on a per capita basis for each teams state population. On which basis the Rebels are the worst performing team by a HUGE margin. They get equal size crowds to the Brumbies with 15 X the population.

Round 8 - Rebels vs Brumbies, Saturday 7:45pm

But opposite to the Saffer commentators, who advocate for capital punishment for all offences.

Round 8 - Rebels vs Brumbies, Saturday 7:45pm

It really is just mind blowing that it wasn't a red on the field. Does it annoy anyone else the way the Australian commentators try to talk down the significance of any dangerous or foul play? It's like they're trying to show how tough they are to their mates.

    Congrats Rebs, totally deserved that.

Round 8 - Rebels vs Brumbies, Saturday 7:45pm

Is Aidan Toua the most frustrating player in super rugby? I never rated him at the Reds and hadn't seen much better at the Brums till last week. This week he goes back to feckless kicking and running his support players out of space again.
