Force v Rebels - Friday the 7th of July

Geez blokes, you blew it. This was your final test, your one last chance to verse ( I feel like that is grammatically incorrect but the Rugby Reportcard guys use it every week and they're school teachers, so...) Shiggins in a match thread and he trounced you. Trying to engage him in serious...

British & Irish Lions tour of New Zealand (2017)

With Smith at 15 Highlanders win that in a canter. There's no winning in this one for you mate.

British & Irish Lions tour of New Zealand (2017)

Watching these amazing Lions V Provincial games makes me think of one thing. Of all the things wrong Michael Foley did as a coach of Australian sides, devaluing the occasion and using Sydney club players who had never pulled on a Western Force jersey to take on the Lions so he could rest...

With Aaron Smith at 9 Highlanders win that in a canter.

    Force V Hurricanes @ NIB - Rd 15

that's our best 15 since Peni got injured. Seems strange that our first choice front row is on the reserve bench, but maybe Wessels now see's van Wyk and Ainsley as our best props.

    Force V Hurricanes @ NIB - Rd 15

Mail earlier was Peni was done for the year. Where have you seen he is coming fit? Would be a huge boost for us.

    Force V Hurricanes @ NIB - Rd 15

Oh-oh spaghettio This fixture always ends in tears for us Force fans. The prevailing wisdom is that the Canes coming back from SA should be a little bit bashed up and we might sneak an ambush win. But it never seems to play out that way, and is probably less likely this time since SA teams...

Reds v Force (Brisbane) Friday 26 May 2017

Imagine a Crusaders v Exeter champions style match. Crusaders would do them by 50.

Reds v Force (Brisbane) Friday 26 May 2017

Having watched the Aviva Final I was shocked at how poor the quality of Rugby was. Both defensive teams not even attempting to get off the line in defence after 60mins. Super Rugby at its worst is street ahead.

    Highlanders v Waratahs - Saturday 27 May - 5.30pm

    Ben Smith in ominous form.

So you eat fish caught in the Swan River? If true it kind of explains a lot.

Reds v Force (Brisbane) Friday 26 May 2017

I love this Force squad. David Wessels is doing something very right with selections. He's using guys who should be benchies to start and then having quality to come off the bench and we are winning. Great stuff.

All I can say is Brache must train the fucking house down.

Reds v Force (Brisbane) Friday 26 May 2017

I doubt it. Mozza has run hot and cold in his time here. There were parts of last year where he looked like he wanted to be anywhere but in a Force jersey. I'm not devastated to see him go, I don't think he is the sort of player to thrive in this environment. But I'd still pick him over...

Reds v Force (Brisbane) Friday 26 May 2017

The Force were straight up woeful against the Clan. Didn't turn up mentally at all. But this week with Hodgo back as (C) they'll come out swinging. On paper the Reds should finger puppet us, but I think it will be within 7 either way.

    Unpopular opinion thread

I'll pop one in for Brett McKay from this weeks podcast because I actually agree with him. Bill Pulver until this debacle with cutting a team has done an above average job as ARU CEO.

Force v Highlanders at NIB - Round 13

Well that was heinous 8 hour round trip to watch the boys get pumped while sitting in the rain. It was boys v men. The Highlanders positioning was the difference. They trust each other to make their tackles and their line doesn't compress. The Force continually find themselves watching the...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

And Cox could help us all by being a little more visible. His disappearing act is doing more harm to the Rebels cause than anything else.
