Thanks for your question , RR. I owe Marius van der Westhuizen an apology. It was actually the referee Stuart Berry in the RSA Lions V Reds game in 2014 where Berry was totally one eyed, and earnt widespread condemnation for the game , along with other games he reffed. I have deleted the post.

I'd have thought with the Reds having a bye in the first round, that they'd put on their premier side for this trial to get combinations working, along with match fitness. Unless Thorn sees this as his best team:confused:

And I think its well worth taking into account the 'other' Reds team - the coaching team. Therein could be the improvement.

Aside from all this, I thought Brad Thorn was one of the tougher condition training coaches, in that he demands fitness.
