Shore 19-18 over Cranbrook Very even game with Cranbrook leading for the entire match until last phase when shore scored converted try to win with the last kick of the game Not brilliant rugby but hard fought forward battle and some good moves amongst the backs Cranbrook were missing 5 forwards...

Grammar hasn't beaten Cranbrook in the last 5 years Last year Cranbrook 1/2nds mix put 30+ points on them

I agree with Lee and Cyclopath One line drivel emanating from one place These kids probably don't realise that the rep selectors don't read this thread so talking BS just evaporates into thin air and just makes them and the guys they talk up look like idjits

Trinity should beat stannies comfortably to indicate title contention Cranbrook against an improving Shore team that ran away from Aloys last week will be a good indicator of Cranbrook's level and the 2nds match will measure any depth. On the question of depth - Cranbrook 2nds last year were...

I think that Refs are independently allocated by NSWRU and are usually fairly senior and experienced for 1st XV games

Trinity 23-18 Cranbrook Trinity lucky to win this with Cranbrook leading for most of the match and playing well. A couple of bombed tries and 2 penalties hitting the posts cost Cranbrook dearly.

Don't think so. Newington too big and fast. Scots will predictably play wide to utilise Kellaway but Newington will be prepared. Newington forwards will be stronger and their better backs will run through to ensure a win by 10+

Having done just that recently, but under no privilege restrictions, HJ was offered a scholarship by another GPS school (desperately keen to finally win title again) but declined and pays full fees at Barker.

I note that the term "arms race" was first used on the Scholarship thread by smokinjoe on Jun 10 2011 and has been used on no less than 35 occasions since. I have finally achieved my 15 minutes of fame! I remember TAS drawing with Joeys when each school's team came from whatever students were...

Cranbrook 10 - 37? Barker Same again as per most CAS games against Barker this year. Pretty even in the forwards but Barker having too much firepower in the backs. Hard straight running by bigger faster skilful backs gets plenty of points. Credit to Cranbrook for a gutsy performance but Barker...

Early start is really just a function of alcohol vs behaviour. Pity it applies to "mature" "adults".
