Force vs B&I Lions - Wed. 5 Jun

Welp, I'll definitely be in the red tomorrow, watching an absolute pounding. A real shame the Force couldn't come to the party on this. Their biggest stage of the year and they're focused on some nothing game against the Tahs. Not like this only comes around every 12 years or anything.

    Rebels 2014

Basically this. Those performance targets are my idea for what will give Hill a fighting chance in the interview process. Either way, I think he'll stay with the team.

    Rebels 2014

If he wins 1/3 remaining, he's in with a chance. 2/3 and he's a cert. Unless, of course, McKenzie were available, in which case he was never any chance. Either way, he'll likely stay with the Rebels.

Force vs B&I Lions - Wed. 5 Jun

I'm coming from Melbourne for this. I expect to see the A-grade Force team mauled by the Lions.

Reds v Rebels, Super Rugby Round 16, 1 June 2013

Reds have lost the last two and are coming back from South Africa for their last game before the Lions. Rebels are on a roll (in relative terms) and looking for their last outstanding Australian scalp. Can the Reds shake off the cobwebs before the invasion, or will the head-wobble continue...

    Rebels 2014

Well that's the clincher. Rabo are far and away more important to the club than JOC (James O'Connor) is.

I've forgotten some big losses at the Wig and Pen. Highly recommended.

    Rebels 2014

I think JOC (James O'Connor) will stay on for one more year, but at lower pay from the Rebels. Keep in mind that the Tahs would have to better not only his base, but the tidy 3rd party deal he gets from RaboDirect. If he goes, though, then so be it. The Rebels have done great work to retain who we need to...

    Rebels v Waratahs, rd15 SR2013

I remember going to the Precinct after the Rebels' first ever trial game against Fiji at Olympic Park. Was wearing a Rebels polo and was refused entry. Bouncer: 'Sorry, no team colours' Me: *covers crest* 'What team is this?' Bouncer: *awkward pause* Me: *walks in*

    Rebels 2014

I think the info blues recovery has is on the right track, but it won't be as drastic a switch. There is a realisation that the superstar approach was not a mistake, but perhaps more suited to the club's first few years, and now they have a base support, they need to start building a winning...

    REBELS v STORMERS RD 14

It's not a matter of doubt, it's the referee's opinion of a likely outcome. Phipps was held back when he was potentially one out with Habana and the line. He was thus intentionally denied a fair shot at a try. Doing my best to remove all bias - which is hard because I'm pretty pumped at the...

    Rebels 2013

I respect Lachie Mitchell immensely. He may not be great, but he's an honest trier. Gives his all for the club every match. You'll often find he's best on ground in a big loss because he doesn't give up.

That is both reassuring and damning at the same time. Impressive!
