That was criminally bad decision making from the Boks 11 to come in off his wing like that. Typical AB's, in what is basically the first game of the season for this group. They always start rusty as.

There's a point where it's just flat out obstruction and sealing the ball in these situations. e.g. (the first ruck)

Jaguares just haven't been clinical enough. They haven't built any pressure before coughing the ball up or putting a very poor kick in.

You also shouldn't be able to flop over the wrong side once a maul collapses IMO. Players just fling themselves from nowhere onto the opposition side these days.

The Crusaders have always been the beneficiaries of some favourable referees, lets be real. They can reset all the scrums that they collapse but it's penalties for the boys later on. Yeah, Read's not flash, at all.

Naholo had a very good first game back, shows what a bit of pace and power is worth. Highlanders are missing quality in the back line though i.e. Ben Smith. Sopoaga would be nice too. All those forwards that should be pushing for All Black places are not even in the ballpark. Not our year.
