Bledisloe 2. Eden Park, 24th Sept 7.05pm NZT. 5.05 pm AEST, 3.05 WA

So Foster has broken all sorts of records this year, is it time for the Eden Park record to fall? Already lost home series, 3 in a row on NZ soil etc

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

The call was S*it, but one thing I don't get is why at that stoppage would you not have been subbing Foley for Hodge anyway. Hodge has a extra 20 meters in his kicks and at that stage of the game it's worth bringing him on for 90 seconds. Just to make sure the ball gets to half way. It's poor...

    Super Round 2023

Plus it's March, weather is normally good. Hopefully they set up some outside bars and food trucks on the concourse and at Goosh Paddock. Make it more a festival feel.

    Super Round 2023

Last night on the big screens they announced Super Round in Melbourne in March. At least it's not on school holidays again, and with less COVID going around might attract some travelling fans of the game as well.

I nearly think Nick Jooste should be given a shot at 12, I thought he was pretty impressive at the end of the season and his 25. So his either good enough or not. I would then move Hodge to 13 (Not a fan of him in the center) and Rippley out to wing and Vaihu to the bench. Also noticed on the...

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

My seats where on level 3 in that corner, I don't know how it wasn't checked. From my seat I said he could be out here.

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

Wallabies will drop to 9th in the world rankings on Monday now. Dead set ripped off with that final call, were the better side for long periods of the game and got some stupid calls against them. Gordon collapse was one of the worst, he wasn't holding onto a player to collapse, he got...

Well rugby Australia got the seat cushions back thanks to the ref.

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

So your talking draw card games, England and Ireland both sold out AAMI park. I did skip the last France game, previous one was so horrible I couldn't bare the thought of it possibly happening again. France, Wales and Fiji all got average crowds. Lions sold out both test and tour game. Been...

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

I didn't realize it would be that low of a number. When you consider some of the Irish guys are on 5 and 6 wins now.

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

Agree, different sides helps. Seems Perth gets SA, Arg and occasional NZ Melb gets Lions and touring sides. Ireland and England did draw good crowds at AAMI.

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

They have had 11 RC/TN games since 2000.

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

Melbourne does get a Lions test and tour game, but rugby championship games in Melbourne is a total of 4. All against the AB. Played the Boks once in 2000 for the Mandela Challenge Plate outside of the Tri nations.

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

I just looked it up, it's been 12 years since the Wallabies played the All Blacks in Melbourne. For all those complaining about the game being in Melbourne that's quite a long time in between games. That was also the last time Melbourne had a rugby championship/Tri nations game.

    Aussie Player Exodus

Also the start of the season generally has weaken sides taking the field, most Internationals are only just returning from holidays now.

    Concussions and Protecting Our Players

If my kids choose to play rugby, I'm happy with it. Coaching is progressing fast enough that I am sure all involved with any team will be aware of the risks and teach proper methods. Yes, accidents happen, but they happen in all sports. Personally I have had a lot more injuries, including being...

    Rebels 2023

I'd say Hodge Have heard that Philip does not get along that well with the squad, his personality clashes with to many. I'd say he will be VC and in charge of line out calling still. Hodge, while not playing in the preferred position for a captain, he does deserve it. Has been with the Rebels...
