    REBELS v STORMERS RD 14

From the limited replays they showed I tend to agree. It looked to me that he wasn't really held. Any double movement rule only applies once a player has been held and he looked to be moving pretty freely. I suppose the ref had a much better vantage than us.

    REBELS v STORMERS RD 14

The Rebels' defensive coach needs a bloody kick up the arse. If the Rebels could work out their back line defence they would be a much better team.

    REBELS v STORMERS RD 14

Yeah looks like being a good game. I must say that de Jongh and Aplon have looked like the only Stormers able to make line breaks in the past few weeks and nothing appears to have changed so far tonight.

    REBELS v STORMERS RD 14

Stormers hit straight back under the sticks. 10-7 to the Rebels. Fairly soft try there, Rebels will be disappointed with that.

    REBELS v STORMERS RD 14

Stirzaker showing poise early in the game; he's got that ball on a string. Looks like a try to Higgers; geez he's matured in the last 3-4 games.

    REBELS v STORMERS RD 14

Because someone at the Rebels rates Phipps. I can't understand why.

    REBELS v STORMERS RD 14

Higgers has started this game with the right intent. Really been enjoying watching Kolisi on this tour.

    Chiefs v Hurricanes 17th May 2013

I said that I was aware what the penalty was for, but thanks for the condescension. I was more referring to the fact that they didn't appear to be inside the 15, which the commentators did mention when they showed a belated replay.

    Chiefs v Hurricanes 17th May 2013

Terrible game so far. Anybody else confused by that offside penalty against the 'Canes on their attacking lineout. I know that an offensive 'backline' can be offside at a lineout, but it's not something you often see called. Surprised the commentators didn't make more of a big deal out of it.

    Reds V Sharks - Round 13

I agree with both these points, but as I'm ever the cynic, I won't be turned around a single iota on QC (Quade Cooper) until he starts performing consistently on the World Stage. The thing about winning a Lions Series/Bledisloe/World Cup is that playing well 75% of the time just isn't good enough, especially...

    Reds V Sharks - Round 13

See this is one of the reasons that I don't rate Simmons as much as some people. Sure he's handy in the lineout but where most people with as many Super/Test caps as he has would be real team leaders, Simmons seems to just be out there for a bit of a scrap. While there's nothing necessarily...

    Reds V Sharks - Round 13

As one of the so-called Blooper-haters, I have to agree with you. The Reds backline have only seen the ball a handful of times in this half and it's usually been in their own half. The Sharks have been keeping it in the forwards as much as possible and it's not like QC (Quade Cooper) has missed any tackles or...

    Reds V Sharks - Round 13

Oh I didn't mean it to be negative about the Reds. They obviously came out with fierce intent and were smashing the Sharks all over the park. I just meant that the Sharks poor defence made them look incredible when they were probably just playing very well.

    Reds V Sharks - Round 13

I reckon Robinson has done more harm than good since coming on. He throws himself around with reckless abandon but he plays too loose. A couple of penalties given away and a couple of missed tackles due to trying to make the big hit and missing entirely.

    Reds V Sharks - Round 13

I honestly think that the Sharks were just a bit shell-shocked in the first half and got a bollocking at half time to put a bit of concrete into them. The Reds looked good in the first half but they were rolling over the gain line far too easily. Be interesting to see if the Reds get found out a...

    Reds V Sharks - Round 13

Pretty scrappy second half here. Sharks have scored another but I really don't think they've got it in them to win this

God I hate him but that was beautiful.

    Chiefs V Force - Round 13

As an Australian rugby fan I've been really proud of the Force this year. Even though they lost some big names recently, they've consistently stuck it to much-favoured opposition. They're like the little team that could and even though they haven't turned many of the performances into wins, it...

    Chiefs V Force - Round 13

While I do think some changes need to be made to scrums (ie: more of the infringements need to be free kicks for at least the first few occurrences), I definitely don't believe wholesale changes should be made based on attracting fairweather fans. I'm a huge test cricket fan and I think that...
