    Australian Rugby / RA

He does have a Masters degree, and a good rugby playing background. I have observed him at close quarters, he used to have a holiday home at Terrigal, and comes across as a pretty decent human being. I would have him on a short list if I were involved.

    No effing way, thanks.

    Wallabies 2023

Next he'll be telling us how tough rolling mauls are. Totally irrelevant.

    Shute Shield 2023

Woodies beat Southern fair and square today. Makes a nice change after the Two Blues win. And our losses.

    Rebels 2023

It actually needs to be a bit chummier, in a way. We are all in the larger contest together, a contest to survive (and hopefully thrive) as a minor code in this nation.

    Shute Shield 2023

We lost a couple that we could just as easily have won, then had an escape against the Two Blues. We were leading the Highlanders by 8 with 10 minutes to go, gave away a penalty try and a YC. On the other hand our First Grade Colts are unbeaten (maybe we should promote some of them!!!)

    Wallabies 2023

Australian franchises should be told to pick their strongest 23 every game. Getting thrashed does nothing for the competition, and must be pretty disheartening for the players.

W9: Force v Highlanders, HBF Park Saturday 22 April

That's great news. Watching the game, and the two apparently serious injuries, made me wonder whether the playing surface was too hard.

W9: Force v Highlanders, HBF Park Saturday 22 April

Come on Dan, rugby is always better when your side wins!

    Wallabies 2023

Not necessarily. Maybe just not taking an unnecessary risk.

    Shute Shield 2023

Gordon finished a lot stronger than the Woodies. It's going to be a long cold winter for us!

    Rebels v Crusaders 21/04/23

He was a great player, but his comments are banal in the extreme.
  13. wamberal

    Wallabies 2023

He was in an RA development squad when he was playing in Newcastle, according to an article in today's Oz.

    Wallabies 2023

Payne Haas played a lot of rugby at #8 when before he switched to the dark side. He would be worth a contract.

    Wallabies 2023

Kicking goals is nice, scoring tries is better.

    Shute Shield 2023

Anstee did not come back last season, maybe he has settled in Perth?

    Wallabies 2023

    Not to forget Langi Gleeson??

    Shute Shield 2023

We really should have beaten Uni, and then I reckon we could have won the GF. I think there is a lot of energy (and money) going into the big move, at the same time TG is not being properly maintained, the crowds are falling off. We had Michael Icely playing lock yesterday, which is an...

    Shute Shield 2023

I have been Eastwood through and through since the days when we propped up the table. Not sure what has happened, but we will be lucky to win a handful of games this year.

    Shute Shield 2023

Eastwood played like merde. Parra played most of the second half with 14 men, and had an easy penalty kick to win the game after the bell. Missed it.
