    Wallabies 2024

I’m cut Carter is gone from game. Best thing to do is put him in the rear view mirror and move forward. really need to have Lolesio, Lynagh and the other options step up so he can be nothing other then an afterthought. I have a gut feeling in 2027 he is coming back but on bigger RL poaching money

    Wallabies 2024

depends the positional lense you view him from. for a second rower, yes he might not have the physical presence but what he lacks he makes up for it in running ability in open play. He has great off loading ability… I can see his speed and agility catching South Africa off guard esp should he...

    Queensland Reds 2025

So where is our prop depth/stocks with Ravai gone? We’ve added Gibbon… is there any further rebels to make a play on? How about schoolboy rugby - any names worth watching?

Melbourne Rebels Players - where are they going?

He looked the goods. Granted the Toowoomba QRL team isn’t much chop! Unsure if the centres are his position because he got limited touches out on the flanks. Don’t think he is getting elevated to titans this year because of something about “top 30 and salary cap?”

    Qld Premier Rugby 2024

i suspect a wallaby squad announcement is imminent, however with the first test of the TRC being in Brisbane. Reds based wallabies should be available for selection this week (guessing theres going to be no Fraser or Tate)

    Aussie Player Exodus

I’m going to come out and say Nasser selection was a head scratcher for me personally. I’m nothing more than an armchair selector so my word doesn’t mean crap - but selecting the super rugby backup of the wallabies hooker makes you wonder about hooker depth at the other clubs. guess it happen...

Melbourne Rebels Players - where are they going?

Glenn Vaihu played QCup yesterday for Souths Logan Magpies. Scored 2 tries in a win.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Rugby Australia should be running a national 7s competition that falls outside of the super rugby season, club rugby season etc I know 15s & 7s are entirely different games but with similar skillsets but you could potentially get eyes on tv sets if the Reds and Waratahs are playing each other...

    Qld Premier Rugby 2024

removing a super rugby team and having no national club comp or NRC style competition for 3rd tier development is only going to drive the fringe Matchday 23 players closer to league. as others have pointed out… with nrl expanding to 20 teams sooner rather than later our professional rugby...

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

a couple of gold medals by our men’s and women’s 7s will change the landscape about the international pedigree of the jilaroos and matilidas don’t think there’s anything the wallabies can do to overtake the kangaroos as Australia’s preferred national team

    Qld Premier Rugby 2024

Gee when is the last time Taniela Tupou played club rugby? Last time I can remember was versus Wests back in 2017. Guess it might be his last time in QPR if he’s heading down to Sydney next year and offshore beyond. huge addition for the filth tomorrow!

Tonga vs Reds, 12:30pm Friday 26/7 @ Teufaiva Sports Stadium

The issue with basing teams in South Pacific is your going to be met with inferior stadium infrastructure. I don’t think the stadiums in Tonga, Samoa and Fiji can support the required lux brightness lighting to broadcast night games

    Qld Premier Rugby 2024

Very tough recruiting dynamic down there couple of heavies players have ended up at Bond but it would take quite the arm twist for me personally getting in the car and driving down the M1 up to 4 times in a week to play for Bond. I suspect if Heenan ended up at a Brisbane club his recruitment...

    Wallabies 2024

Bringing super rugby veteran JOC (James O'Connor) into camp >>> over inviting non super rugby players cooper/Foley but in saying that. JOC (James O'Connor) provides nothing long term for the betterment of wallabies - so I don’t see what it achieves unless you think he’s good enough for 10 jersey or the utility back spot on...
