  1. bring back rucking

    NSW CAS Rugby 2021

Jarrah McLeod is a surprise omission for me. Was relatively quiet against Waverley but dominant in every other game he has played this year. Seems odd that he’s not even listed in the shadow team. He can influence a game like few others
  2. bring back rucking

    NSW CAS Rugby 2021

It’s a tough one rod... knox destroyed the Riverview front row last week... yet today neither front 3 were noticeably dominant at set piece, but I haven’t seen barker so could be talking out of my hat. Was impressed by waves today, very physical as always but their ability to turnover possession...
  3. bring back rucking

    NSW CAS Rugby 2021

I don’t think they have been hyped, most people have them as third. In all my years of watching knox I think they have always struggled to put teams to the sword. Obviously teams change significantly each year so that’s a fairly pointless observation but in the same way joeys can put 2 tries on...
  4. bring back rucking

    NSW CAS Rugby 2021

They were up 24-5 and doing it very comfortably.... arguably left 3 or 4 tries out there with some issues with the last pass. Waves at Death Valley are always hard and they sound very good this year. I would be surprised if they can get the job done there but that’s the beauty of schoolboy...
  5. bring back rucking

    NSW AAGPS 2021

I thought Oscar was son of Michael, with Max son of Peter?
  6. bring back rucking

    NSW CAS Rugby 2021

Knox will have to fix their lineout if they are to be any show against waves. If it was functional on Saturday against Newington the score would have ballooned.
  7. bring back rucking

    NSW CAS Rugby 2021

I’m not sure Rod, having seen both joeys and view, O’Donnell and Jorgensen are standouts but I wasn’t blown away by the others.... from a knox perspective 10, 12 and 15 are exceptional and I expect the barker 10 to be the best of the lot by all reports plus 13 and others.... waves no doubt have...
  8. bring back rucking

    NSW AAGPS 2021

No they didn’t. His team beat view last week and Newington today... fairly sure the comment was a reply in jest to another, but whatever.... move on, good win to view today, they are a good team led well by O’Donnell. Personally I think joeys are a better side from what I’ve seen.... but...
  9. bring back rucking

    NSW AAGPS 2021

Axel is knox, who beat view... let’s not be Petty. He’s a good and balanced contributor Should be a great CAS v GPS game in a few weeks... quality players across both associations. Will be one of the best nsw schools teams in a long time
  10. bring back rucking

    NSW AAGPS 2021

30-22 knox over new full time
  11. bring back rucking

    NSW CAS Rugby 2021

30-22 to knox over new full time
  12. bring back rucking

    NSW AAGPS 2021

24-5 knox over new 15 to go
  13. bring back rucking

    NSW CAS Rugby 2021

    24-5 to knox
  14. bring back rucking

    NSW CAS Rugby 2021

Is it fair to say that the return of the injured Bray at hooker would be the only change to that side axel? He came to my sons game on crutches a couple of weeks ago.... how long is he expected to be out? Terrific player
  15. bring back rucking

    NSW CAS Rugby 2021

Agree Wlf. But a very strong CAS side is brewing. Given the barker 10 sounds to be the real deal I assume that Morrison from Knox will be squeezed to 15 even though the current knox 15 (Tucker) is more than capable... some interesting selection debates to be had. I would imagine that barker and...
  16. bring back rucking

    NSW CAS Rugby 2021

Nice hank, that was a good read.
  17. bring back rucking

    NSW CAS Rugby 2021

    Brilliant
  18. bring back rucking

    NSW AAGPS 2021

It was a good game of rugby. 12 O’Donnell was a stand out for view, very classy player with genuine size and skill. He scored at least once and was in everything good from Riverview. The main difference between the 2 sides was the knox scrum which repeatedly had view going back the full 1.5m...
  19. bring back rucking

    SRT-T R1: Crusaders v Brumbies

I take it back... Valetini stormed back into action in the last 5 mins
  20. bring back rucking

    SRT-T R1: Crusaders v Brumbies

I love how Ian smith points out it was the reserves that missed the tackles on banks... just acknowledge it was a good try without qualifying it
