    Round 5: Lions v Rebels - Sun12:05am @Emirates Park

Another penalty, nice Lions break and the half back cynically threw it into the returning player. I think they would've been better off keeping attacking. Another penalty for not being onside, another yellow card warning. This will be a 14 - 1 penalty count now.

    Round 5: Lions v Rebels - Sun12:05am @Emirates Park

Lions finally crash over from close range. Hoping this penalty count normalises soon.

    Round 5: Lions v Rebels - Sun12:05am @Emirates Park

That high tackle call on Genia is a farce. 12 - 1 penalty count now.

    Round 5: Lions v Rebels - Sun12:05am @Emirates Park

Didn't bother with the warning, yellow to Meakes finally. Penalties were 8 - 1 at half time, must be about 11 - 1 now. Rebels steal the 5m lineout. This Lions team is bumbling.

    Round 5: Lions v Rebels - Sun12:05am @Emirates Park

Amazed this ref hasn't given yellow warning to the Rebels.

    Round 5: Lions v Rebels - Sun12:05am @Emirates Park

Well, Tom English didn't drop that one. 5m scrum to a flat Billy Meakes with a decoy Cooper out the back, the defenders watched Cooper and Meakes just dumped it off to English to crash over.

    Round 5: Lions v Rebels - Sun12:05am @Emirates Park

Nothing makes me happier than seeing teams aimlessly hit the ball up in their own 22 just to knock it on. Just dumb rugby rightfully penalised.

    Round 5: Lions v Rebels - Sun12:05am @Emirates Park

And Tom English loses the ball trying to fall over the line for the second time this year. Fantastic counter attack from the Rebels was Crusader-esque with how quickly they shifted it at full speed.

    Round 5: Lions v Rebels - Sun12:05am @Emirates Park

Not a fan of these Genia contested kicks when already with decent field position. Lions cross field kicks are looking pretty effective so far. When they have an open backline they have the wide winger playing up very flat for the cross field kick. Lions lineout is a mess though.

    Round 5: Lions v Rebels - Sun12:05am @Emirates Park

Try against the base of the post! 23 minutes in, should be 26 - 5. Lions would be in shock.

    Round 5: Lions v Rebels - Sun12:05am @Emirates Park

This is insane, going upstairs to see if Naisarani is in again. Rebels attack is firing on all cylinders, Cooper and Genia in particular.

    Round 5: Lions v Rebels - Sun12:05am @Emirates Park

Rebels up 19 - 5 after 22 minutes and they are hot on attack again. Hodge in the corner, Cooper finished a fantastic length of the field try, Meakes with an intercept about 22m out off a set play (after DHP failed to ground a kick over the line that would've been another try). Crazy game so far.

    Round 5, Sunwolves v Reds, 16/3 @ Tokyo

Is that you Matt Burke? This is honestly one of the silliest posts I've ever read.

Round 4 - Festival of Hate - Qld v NSW

Wonder how much longer the Tahs will roll out the corpse of AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) in the starting backline. That backline isn't really clicking, and they look to be shuffling week to week.

Round 4 - Festival of Hate - Qld v NSW

I've been a fan of the Reds since the mid 90s. Thorn has killed it for me. I'm currently pretty ambivalent about results. I want the Reds to win, but every loss I also get to enjoy the schadenfreude over Thorn being clueless and out of his depth and one game closer to gone. This Reds team...

    R3 - Reds vs. Crusaders - Suncorp

Reds are just a low-IQ rugby team. Crusaders dropped a lot of ball and threw a lot of passes behind the man, most unforced, or the scoreline would've been a blow out. When you're barely clinging on you just don't kick it back aimlessly. Fitness looks good, scrambling defence looks good, not...

    Round 1 - Waratahs vs Hurricanes @ Brookvale - Saturday 16 February 2019

I have a theory that his mop of blonde hair makes him standout more to people watching the game. Or maybe he trains really well. It's a mystery.

Apologies to Latu, Hanigan should have taken that.

    Round 1 - Waratahs vs Hurricanes @ Brookvale - Saturday 16 February 2019

Latu blows another lineout, Hanigan can't take it and that's the game.

    Round 1 - Waratahs vs Hurricanes @ Brookvale - Saturday 16 February 2019

Lucky penalty, that initial counter ruck was good. So many phases 5m out from your own line needing to go 95m to win. And now another. Canes imploding?
