    Qld Premier Rugby 2013

With their first grade doing very well this year, I think Souths will be a force next year....then again, that's what everyone was saying about Wests & Sunnybank this season, whilst writing off Easts and Brothers.

Australia v Argentina, Sept 14th in Perth

I agree with the Fainga'a/McCabe argument, and always have. But it would have to be at 13 and not 12, I'd much prefer a ball playing 12 Rob Horne.....why not, the only time he has ever genuinely warranted Wallabies selection, HE DOES NOT GET IN THE SQUAD.

Big season from Coxy. He is a very underrated player. Affectionately known as the "shitter twin" at the start of the year among my mates, he really proved himself. Defensively very sound and quite agile in small spaces.hes done well. His twin Sean looked very good at 12 while UJ was overseas...

    Qld Premier Rugby 2013

I mean University and Sunnybank would be obvious inclusions, and rightfully so for various on-field and off-field reasons. I think between Brothers, Easts, Gold Coast and GPS it would have to come from them I don't know too much about financial strengths however but Easts and GPS seem to be...

Got my vote. Both are good but Bond is awesome. Southern X, are you saying you don't think Easts would be a viable option in the National comp? And to be fair, I think at least 8 clubs have more likelihood of being included than Wests. You do well at creating some stir, I'll give you that.

    Reds 2014

Don't get me wrong, I'm a big Mitchell fan as well. His size is probably the only thing that holds him back. But as I said, Gunny was in a league of his own this season. Interesting on Setu. Was it a league team? Because he was in one Toyota Cup program before coming back to Union, and his...

    Reds 2014

I defiantly wouldn't categorise Setu and Mitchell at the same level as Gunn. Both very good players, but Gunny was awesome every game he played and was miles ahead of any other 7 in the comp.

Agree with all that your saying TD. I'd look to progress those three the same way they have done for Browning. With Curtis I think it was always implied he'd be getting a full contract, but after a year in the Reds College playing in the Premier Comp and U20's. I think that is the best way for...

    Reds 2014

I genuinely think Gunny would be able to make that step up. What you're saying SoX is 100% right, but there is something about how he plays that makes me think he would find it a lot easier. He plays 5-6yrs above his age in terms of physicality and toughness.

Australia v Argentina, Sept 14th in Perth

Surely someone who is going to be a certainty should be captain. Slipper or Moore would be my votes. Mowen is struggling to hold his spot right now, don't see how that warrants captaincy, regardless of how good of a leader he is.

Australia v Argentina, Sept 14th in Perth

Personally I wouldn't be changing too much in the backs this week. I actually thought Quade went OK, so he should stay in the 23 at least. Genia should be dropped to the bench, he's been awful. Apart from that all changes should happen in the pack. Benn Robinson & James Slipper as our 1 & 3...

Never thought I'd say this but.....Saia Fainga'a should start.

    Qld Premier Rugby 2013

Mention to our 6 Luke Bertini who played his 100th game today. Legend at the club, was there in 2008 and was our captain for a few seasons. It is great to see him back and playing well after a full year off with an injury last year. And FilthRugby, Easts supporters are very mature and...

    Reds 2014

I've heard rumors that the Brumbies are looking at him. Laurie Fisher was out there today to presumably watch him and Jarrad Butler. You're right though, the kid is a freak and needs to be kept in QLD.

Very good signing for the Rabbles. I rate Ellison quite highly.

Kirwan Sanday named at tighthead in the Courier Mail. Interesting given that Parker destroyed the GPS front row in the Semi, and given that Kirwan has not played for about a month or so.
