Maybe candidates don't get or are frustrated with the ARU boys club as well.

Poor performance with most employers a staff member gets managed out, not paid out. Having to payout some one who has achieved - what have we come to?

I started this thread because the ARU (Boardroom) was out of touch with Australian Rugby (Players and Supporters) - unfortunately there hasn't been allot of change and even the tragic's are wavering.

One of the huge problems in this country at present - whether it be in business, politics or sport.

I'm sure I read somewhere you were impartial and didn't align yourself to a club - remained unbiased??? :) I think the 2Blues are in good shape and are focusing their energies and attitudes in the right area and that is West of the Spit and Roseville Bridge :)

Not saying it is - but isn't it ironic the trip downwards in rankings started around the same time as ARU said we are not financially supporting premier rugby. since then, again there always has been - but it seems like allot more Australian juniors are now plying their trade offshore.

Very fair assessment - that is felt all over the place. No doubt significantly more out west given larger population mass, and different demographic. We have to keep trying though, keep the opportunity door open. If they dont make the Panthers, Parra, Dogs etc what do they do - stop playing a...

Yep correct, same as last year. Lowest 2 losers are eliminated. If you remember both 1st and 2nd lost last year - Souths finishing second were eliminated, because Manly finishing first also lost

I think I heard first draw in the derby, thus Manly retained the trophy.

Good crowd, entertaining rugby, both teams went hard. Thats why we love our game.

Derby weekend - it should be a battle through all colts and grade. Sun will be shining.
