On the Cluch phone app the game is showing. I had the issue 2 weeks ago, phone app worked properly and tv app didn’t, even when updated and reinstalled.

I think, in order: Barker - Joeys - Kings - Scots - Shore - Knox - Wave - View - New - then daylight... Will all look different again by 13 August.

Some excellent debate on GPS selections. With 6 relatively close teams in relation to talent (and close scores when playing each other so far) it will be very competitive. One consideration is lineout combinations. If, as most agree, Ollie McCrea (Scots) is one second row, then he is a lifter...

Before e Before you all get too excited at certain players getting off lightly ........ it is the blonde No. 16 replacement making the high tackle and not Jorgensen who wears No.15. (its very clear on Cluch). And yes, very lucky not to get a yellow card.

Thanks for a great preview Bob. Small correction though, it’s The Catholics vs The Jesuits. The only thing these schools have in common is the Pope.

Knox would want to improve greatly compared to last week. 48-26 flattered them greatly (Knox got 2 intercept tries, and Joeys still left a lot of points out there). Hard to think they will play that badly again this year but its a long way back from that performance.

It's difficult for a number of reasons. For example, Scots will have pretty much played every GPS school in a trial before selections and Shore will have only played one GPS school - Scots (next week). Do GPS selectors prefer to watch two GPS teams play? Does this help or hinder Scots or Shore...

Thanks Bob. Great preview. If Jack Barrett is ruled out that is a huge loss for Joeys. Sounds like there are some impressive young players from famous families in the Scots team, will watch with interest. Getting close to GPS selections, very hard to see any team dominating selections on what...

Spot on WLF3. League boys do tend to have that bit extra when it comes to tackling and dynamic ball carrying. The teams with a lot of league boys sometimes come unstuck at the breakdown when in possession. It's foreign to waste your energy coming into a ruck when your team has the ball. Having...

Joeys certainly turned up very different from last week! Excellent carries across the forwards. 13 and 15 found ridiculous amounts of open space, no doubt assisted by Knox losing their star 13 early on. Lineout pretty good today in the wet. The experiment at 12 seemed to work well. The young 4...

I notice your 16A's fly-half was player of the match in the City-Country U16s league game last week and is with the Roosters. Handy player to have coming through the ranks.

Hi Wyvernboy. I watched New v Scots a few weeks ago. Wet ground but Scots driving maul and direct running from the 2 and 12, and good kicking game, provided Scots with a very good lead at half-time and they were dominant. However, in the 2nd half New got on top in the scrums and upset the Scots...

Not touching the 's'-word with a barge pole - Cyclopath sees and hears all... Let’s face it, we’re not losing that many future Wallaby forwards to league, (and forward depth is our biggest challenge) it is predominantly backs who we always argue played league from primary school anyway. Next...

Agree, Joker – but still much to ponder over at Hunters Hill. Make no mistake, Barker were up for this game in a big way. Defensive aggression, taking penalty goals on offer (in a ‘trial’!), the off the ball niggle, the coach yelling at the ref for 70mins, and the wild celebrations at full time...

Can anyone confirm Joeys are playing Barker in the 1sts, 2nds and junior A's? AAGPS website says they are playing St. Augustine's this Saturday. CAS website says Barker away to Joeys.
