Have the Eagles built a new ground? was not aware - any pics? I honestly think Viking Park would be the only real ground in Canberra that would make sense....I cant really think of anywhere else...

Lets be honest you would have to think the Vikings will be one of the teams to be included in the NRC - I think it would be a shock if they were not there - also lets be honest they are in the top 2-3 richest clubs in Australia so they have plenty of backing - they prob make more money in a week...

I do understand this - I am simply saying it would of been alot better long term option to have it on FTA - I guess the ARU only have themselves to blame for getting in this position where they can only get a foxtel deal...lets be honest there is going to be more French rugby and NZ rugby on fox...

Would of been better having it on ABC and having maybe 1-2 live games per week and the rest on repeat...foxtel option is a joke.

Could I ask a very simple question - why did we ever take prob our greatest junior no.10 and move him to fullback? Could Beale of been one of the best if not the best no.10's for the last 4-5 years if he had stayed in that position?

Who do people think the teams will be? Will they be teams that are already formed? I.e Syd Uni, Tuggeranong Vikings - or do people think they will be mainly from teams they are going to be formed just for this comp? Or a mix? Wish I was a multi millionaire I would chuck a team in haha

4th for Vikings would have to be the worst placing they have seen in 15-20 years? Have they lost most of the current 1st XV from last year? I know there was talk of a fair few players leaving....but have they been weaked that much?

Could not agree more - the ARU cant even place a player like Folau in the Penrith area?! What a disgrace. Australia out of all top nations have just failed to move into the professional era - just think how good the Wallabies would be in the ARU had a game plan when moving into the professional...

Looks good - planning on going to see acouple of games next year that are close to the act i.e coota, young, tumut - will also go and watch the Brumbies Provincial Comp again.

We also have to remember the ARU put no effort into the ARC when it was launched it was simply the answer to a million questions people were asking and then at least the ARU could turn around and say "at least we tried" - I honestly believe it was just a front to hide them and for them to say we...

Watching some of the marketing and advertising around the T20 cricket that is starting soon is how the ARU need to market and advertise this new comp - as a fast, exciting, action packed comp - the aru marketing and advertising team/s are terrible....

This format is perfect in IMO. I think we should just be excited for more local rugby - I cant wait to go down and watch this comp and will prob travel to watch a few games - also for local players its a stepping stone to a full-time professional contract. Aussie rugby is on the up for the 1st...

Vikings start "normal" Pre-season training on the 2nd of Jan - wondering if they have set this date to test players in regards to showing up considering for many its the 1st day back at work and of course the day after new years.....haha They have had their development squad pretty much...
