Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

Which one? Maybe it's the twin brother, and sharks lower grader, David fifita.

    Wallabies have a drinking problem?

Seems like it has been pretty well handled to me, plus most of those suspended could do with a rest anyway.

    Brumbies 2014

So both larkham and fisher are winners. What could go wrong with having two people trying to agree selections, tactics , training programs etc. Won't be much of a change from the authoritarian regime of white will it? 10% chance it will work, as a tahs fan, I hope it fails slowly. As an aus...

    James Horwill stripped of captaincy

Congrats to Ben and quade. Well done to link for being decisive and bold. Re quade, who da thunk it even 4 weeks ago, yet why not? It just might work. I take it as a sign that To'omua is also the first choice 12 now. Maybe being banished by deans was a godsend in hindsight.

    Robbie Deans

I've seen him around Sydney a few times over the last 6 weeks, including yesterday If he is in Japan , it's short visits.

    Pumas v Wallabies, Rosario, 5th October 2013

Well done wobbs (incl. link). A resounding result when it was needed. Was it our best ever win over the argies?, surely yes give it was away from home. I'm not going to grumble too much, but a critical viewing will still see much for us to improve on, and possible criticise the argies for...

    Ewen McKenzie: Wallaby Coach

Have we started on the slow fix yet?

    Ewen McKenzie: Wallaby Coach

I said before the first TRC game that I would give link to the end of the EOYT (which is another 7 games from now) before passing judgment so I'll stick with that. It is disappointing that we seem to have gone backwards in his first 5 games and our game plan seems to be all over the place.

    Jake White Quits Brumbies

Jeez, I think thats nailed it from almost every angle. HArd to argue the situation (while unforseen and difficult) hasnt been well managed by all involved.

    Jake White Quits Brumbies

I guess the unknown information is how his coming second in the aus coaching application was communicated to him. Maybe it was poorly done and his reaction was understandable. Otherwise, geez, poor form jake and a bad loss for aus ruby as a whole.

This shits me, how can someone walk out two years early on a contract with no consequences?

    James O'Connor misses flight

Me too. You can't underestimate the negative impact that preferential treatment and tolerance of poor behaviour has on the rest of the team, especially the better performers. Don't forget this comes soon after Genia was benched so there are clear statements there now for everyone in the squad.

All Blacks v Springboks - Eden Park, Sept 14th 2013

I agree Poite should be held accountable, but this isn't a sacking offense nor should he be overlook for internationals going forward (say in the way Stuart Dickinson was treated). Sure give him a talking to etc. etc. but there aren't enough top quality refs as it is.

All Blacks v Springboks - Eden Park, Sept 14th 2013

I had a somewhat unique perspective on this as I only caught the 1st 10 mins of the 2nd half of the AB V Bok test (without sound) while at the SFS on the weekend. I presumed that Bismarck was being redcarded just for the elbow, which seemed ridiculous. That was enough for me to be sure the ABs...

Australia v Argentina, Sept 14th in Perth

BH, I don't think anyone is. There are few options for both the front and second row and I think most people are considering changes in both. I will admit I have been biased against Kepu for a while, probably since bled 3 of last year. For the tahs, I prefer Ryan to start over Kepu.

Australia v Argentina, Sept 14th in Perth

He got dusted badly in a scrum the weekend before when he came on as a replacement for Randwick against Souths.

Australia v Argentina, Sept 14th in Perth

Changes I would make to the starting team: Front Row: Slipper, Moore & Alexander. Robinson isn't even in the squad (a bad mistake) so he wont be in the team. Kepu is poor around the park and now in scrums also. Sio and Kepu on the bench. IF the scrum goes pear shaped (likely) I would move...
