    Waratahs 2025

I was saying Australian rugby coach, and so taking into account also his record at Leinster, the Tahs and Argentina. And I'm not suggesting he return to the Wallabies, so all the Cheika haters from other provences needn't get their knickers in a knot, but I think he would be exactly the right...

    Waratahs 2025

Cheika is the coach everyone loves to hate, which I think is a mix of his emotional 'heart-on-his-sleeve' persona and the fact he's a Tah. Also happens to be clearly the most successful Australian rugby coach since Rod Macqueen. If he's interested in returning to the Tahs, 'sign here, press hard'!!

    Waratahs 2024

Yep, as a small guy I quickly learned to tackle low. Leave the mid-torso big hits to the guys with plenty of body mass!

    Wallabies 2024

McReight would be my pick for Wallaby 7, but calling him as good as Hooper is looking through very deeply red tinged glasses. While for some reason BR never rated him, most supporters of all sides would rate him one of the best two or three players the Wallabies have produced over the last...

    Wallabies 2024

Holloway and Hanigan are only out this week, not sure about the other two, I don't think that was part of the criteria, just the long term injured like Bell and Porecki

    Wallabies 2024

Picking a squad on the same basis as Horan and Shepherd the other day (no OS players, no currently injured players), here's my go: Slipper, Faessler, AAA, Frost, Holloway, Valetini, McReight, Cale, McDermott, Lolesio, Toole, Paisami, Ikatou, Kellaway, T Wright; Res: Pollard, Gibbon, TT, Hanigan...

    Waratahs 2024

We had 7 props (Bell, Lambert, HTS, HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes), Botha, Holtz and Ross) and 3 hookers (Porecki, Vailanu and Fourie) signed, I would be very surprised if any super rugby squad either side of the Tasman had more than that.

Gamble was on for the last 20 minutes

    Round 11 - Waratahs v Hurricanes - Friday 5:30pm

FLW (Fergus Lee-Warner)'s hands in the lineout have been awful, I think three times he's had a clean catch at it and just fumbled it cold. Those sort of skills have to be better at this level. How much better does the Tahs attack work with the speed of Grant at the back of the ruck, rather than Gordon tooling...

Gleeson has the worst hands of all time! Pity, because he hits it up really hard

    Round 11 - Waratahs v Hurricanes - Friday 5:30pm

Really don't know what else he could have done then, was completely isolated. Poor hands all round, mindless kicking, lazy penalties, falling off one-on-one tackles, this is the Tahs at their absolute worst. I think that DC is a good guy, but he can't stay after this fiasco. Looking for a single...

    Round 11 - Waratahs v Hurricanes - Friday 5:30pm

Some of theses guys have had a lobotomy. Had about 5% of the ball and when they get it the first option is to kick it. Gordon a leader????

Round 10: Waratahs v Chiefs. Friday 26th April 7:35 pm

To be fair, the Tahs had seven props and three hookers signed to there squad at the start of the year, which you would have to think would be enough. We have now lost six of those seven props and all three hookers through injury, how do you prepare for that? Sign ten hookers and fifteen props????

    Wallabies 2024

I'm no fan of Beale, he is 35 with a chequered history and I was pleased the Tahs didn't re-sign him. However, he was not found guilty recently, his poor off-field behaviour is some years behind him, and he is currently playing Super Rugby and is eligible for Wallaby selection. IF he stays fit...

Positive as always Derpus! You must be fun to be around.

Waratahs v Crusaders, Friday 12th April, in Sydney

Considering our injuries, I thought the scrum was excelent, certainly didn't dominate but held their own which was what we needed. Front row were really solid, Heaven is really stepping up to this grade. Good performances all over the park, but you can't help but wonder at Harrison. Two years...

    Waratahs 2024

There are plenty of players with individual talent, but lacking in rugby IQ. There are a whole group of players who have got this far through raw talent, but that lack of any instinct or feel for the game lets them down at this level. I would put Gleeson, Gordon, Edmed, Perese and Marky Mark (Nawaqanitawase) all...
