I don't think it's just any centre. He's clearly after size. Dominate the collisions, dominate the gainline, dominate possession. It's all very Gatland.

    Rebels v Brumbies, Round 12, 13th May 2016

Cheers for that. He gives good interview, actually quite honest about things which is a refreshing change.

Yeah, an ACL isn't anything to worry about these days. If it's kept him under the radar somewhat that's no bad thing.

Just watched his highlights. Got a bit of Aaron Cruden about him, a lot to like in there. That said, if he tries selling candy like that against the big boys someone's going to put him on a stretcher. How big is he? Looks solid enough, but it's always hard to tell with schoolboys.

Oh, for sure. There's only so many players you can stash at any given time - especially with Foley/Beale/Horwitz on the books. Just wondering what the word on McGregor is, what sort of player he is, how far away he is etc etc

Just saw this. Like the move a lot. Always compete, keep adding competition at every position on the roster. Be interesting to hear what NSW types are saying about it.

The closest thing to Phipps is TJ Perenara, top footballer - very ordinary scrumhalf. Maybe he'll spring that roided-up Saffa scrumhalf the Force have on us, he could fit the bill?

Could well be. Very different players of course, totally depends what Cheika is after.

Yep, he's missed a lot of rugby. Was out for 6 months or so, still building into match fitness. If it's still an issue in a few weeks time then we'll know if it's an actual problem with his game. He'd get pretty badly exposed starting at Test level right now, but he'd be fine off the bench.

Sickening. Especially when you remember he carved up whenever he was actually allowed on the park.

Rebels v Cheetahs, 22 April @ AAMI Park

Nice one. I thought Timani had a very average first half - like the rest of them - but he really built into the second half. I have no idea why they have so much trouble running onto the ball? You'd think it was pretty elementary, but here we are.

Rebels v Cheetahs, 22 April @ AAMI Park

I've always said he was a project who was a way off the Wallabies, but last night was really something. I mentioned his decision making last night, and that's really what's happening. He half takes the ball to the line then stops and either gets smashed or pops a pathetic little pass along. And...

Rebels v Cheetahs, 22 April @ AAMI Park

Good to be in town for a win. First half was a trainwreck, aimless nonsense. Second was much better, amazing what happens when players start working off the ball. Jones' hands were coated in butter, had a shocker. Debreczeni was laughably bad, he's in absolutely dreadful touch - decision...

Is he the ranga who was tossed to the wolves a few years back? If he's the one I'm thinking of the times really are pretty desperate.

Why is Hodge playing 13 with Sefa on the wing? This team does so much weird shit. Whatever, it's good to see Colby back at least. He's been missed.

I'd be pretty surprised if he was that tall, he's really not a very big dude. Would be gutting if he did go to Queensland. I know it's his home state and all, but Jesus.

Hodge has played what, two and a half games of professional rugby? He's miles away. I'd be shocked if Timani, Reid, and Inman got looks as well. Not sure Cottrell has really kicked on either. Looks pretty close apart from that.

Wallabies v England in Melbourne, 18 June

Got tickets, I'm keen. That absolute disgrace against the French a couple of years ago was the worst game I've ever seen live, if this was back at Etihad I probably wouldn't have gone.

You hope the club have actually put in the work, and accepted the delay, to find a good fit as a sponsor. Someone who's going to stick around for longer than a year, and is a decent match culture-wise.

At the moment it looks like it means what it means, we're a mid table team. Beaten the bad teams we've come up against, but been smoked by the good ones. 4-2 gives a great platform to launch from, but without serious improvement across the park the finals are a long way off.
