I think the Brumbies were always open to centralisation, but had reservations about how it would be implemented and wanted some security over their future as part of the ACT... McLennan's aggressive movements last year did nothing to help the cause.

I'd say I'm more interested to see if Schdmit can do anything improve his work around the field... I'm less concerned about his scrummaging.

I'm not sure, but coming back from most of the year off he looked to be improving over the half a dozen games he played... The Brumbies' scrum was already struggling well before he came back. I hope under a better system, and among a better scrummaging unit it'll be fine... but we'll see.
