Wallaroos are full time. Supe w are not. Assume the best supe w players also might get a bit of coin from their clubs as well. ( shute shield/ hospital cup).

Plus hiding away at Porters with 500 other punters means they can hide away and achieve David-Boonesque can consumption numbers without the boys in blue from sniffing around!

Reliably hearing that Gordon are horarding a zillion colts this year. I know Shute Shield clubs offer better facilities than most subbies clubs. ( not all) but surely getting a run is more important than not. Has to be impacting colts numbers in the surrounding subbies clubs.

    Australian Rugby / RA

Yeah I found a lot of it a bit odd and he's at pains to defend Hammer. Comments about 7s and women's rugby development was strange. But ultimately he is saying we can't spend what we don't have.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Not really relevant here but shows that its not just Rugby with its issues. The production company for the A-League broadcasts has collapsed yesterday - throwing in doubt the games being shown on TV. That combined with Paramount wanting to get out of Australia would mean a few headaches over Easter.

    Round 6: Reds v Brumbies

crowd expectation. more than 20k would be a good result over Easter. Tahs will be a trainwreck crowd-wise.

    Sydney Subbies 2024

I remember years ago - 1995 I think it was... Newport or Forest ( cant remember) had qualified for the finals with 1 round to go. They rocked up to our north shore subbies club for what was a dead rubber for them, after a short bus trip absolutely blind drunk before playindg a 1st grade game...

yep agreed. Just saying its a bit rich for the mungos to accuse us for pinching talent where I'd argue 30% of league players have some sort of rugby background.
