Some early predictions for Ross Oval next weekend 1st XV - early in the season I thought TSS would waltz it in, now I’m not so sure, gut feel says TSS will be too big, too strong however NC have outperformed, this should be a classic, hopefully a massive crowd comes along to enjoy result TSS by...

NC40-12 over Churchie , best 2nd XV out of Nudgee for years, big weekend at Ross Oval next week, 1st’s and 2nds both undefeated, should be a great spectacle

NRC Rnd 1: Brisbane City v Western Force

Dan we are in a drought and this is a local rugby club with no ARU or QRU funding. All things considering I think the ground held up ok. Clearly no issues from the players although I wouldn’t have liked to have been tackled into it.

NRC Rnd 1: Brisbane City v Western Force

No 7 Alcock for Force excellent, back row for Brisbane City non exsistent, captain no 6 for Brisbane very ordinary. Smith brothers were great and tried hard all day, needed some help however didn’t get a lot. 15 for Brisbane was very good. Force well deserved winners, good side.

NC has a danger game against Churchie before worrying about TSS. Clearly the dark horse of the comp with only one loss, results far out weighing expectation. NC beat them easily in a trial however there appears to be considerable improvement since then. Should be another great day of rugby at...

Nc 47-BBC 12. NC forwards dominated, NC 10 completely outplayed his opposite. BBC have plenty coming back next year and have a very handy 16A team so next year could finally be their year. If NC get over Churchie next week crowd will be massive at Ross Oval for TSS game with potentially two...

NC 2nds 32 - BBC 3, close first half however NC dominated second half. Big crowd eagerly awaiting what should be a very close game in the firsts. Speed to burn in both teams.

U obviously didn’t watch the 2015 grand final CFS smashed Easts, if he wasn’t there I don’t think Souths win. Doesn’t happen often however there is a few occasions it makes a massive difference. Case in point.

Watching NC in the last 8-9 Year’s I’ve never seen a first XV so devoid of superstars however never seen a year so strong in depth. Possibly up to 5- 6 first choice players out however gut feel is they clean up in Opens again. This is a very tight year. All first XV teams seem to have a day off...

NC 49- Terrace 25. Brilliant kicking display by 10 converting all tries. Game much closer than score suggests, terrace better side first half with their backs looking very dangerous. NC lost 4 players in first 25 mins to injury, depth of open age group came to the fore with replacement players...

I have completely over looked another achievement last night with Vuki scoring 4 tries. I think this was Vuki’s 99th game for North’s with his 100th against Bond next weekend. I reckon he would be be way ahead of a 1:1 ratio. From memory 2014 he scored close to 30 tries . Anyone got the stats...

Just watched the north’s v brothers game again, Duncan is a class above club players and even better he keen to play. North’s absolutey killed Brothers with their wide game, out coached by a country mile. Brothers appear to be a one trick pony, some great forwards but custard behind them. I’m...

I think TSS will thump Churchie by plenty, haven't really seen anything from Churchie that says otherwise, happy to be proved wrong. TSS by 25 +; GT to win on the back of a strong forward pack, BBS outside backs unreal however everyone knows where the game is won, GT No 8 is a workhorse, GT by...

Wow I don't think I have ever seen this from a Brothers supporter ever before, some serious dark clouds on the horizon at Albion ATM. Defence is clearly the issue at Brothers, they are normally so hard to score points against however this year completely the opposite. Should the heat be on the...
