RWC QF 4 AUS v SCO (Twickenham) 19th Oct 0200 AEDT

I seem to remember Deans inexplicably playing Cooper in every-single game of the last world cup - even in Matches where he was not clearly a required presence - and when he finally "blew-up" he didn't play again in how long???

RWC QF 4 AUS v SCO (Twickenham) 19th Oct 0200 AEDT

Yes we will, God Damn It - and the Week after too, if we Have To!... (So nice to have some feel-good news from the wallabies)!

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

TK on George North - that is worth the price of Admission alone... cannot wait for this one.

Rugby and the dismal failure of The Meat Machine

8 broken toes, broken rib, broken neck... too many concussions...

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

I also think that Folau should have been kept on the Bench - only coming on if he was needed at the half-way mark or so.. 3 BIG Games still to come, one hopes...

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

I was amazed to see Wayne Smith's article in the Australian suggesting the Wallabies "couldn't believe what they had done" - he must have been watching a different World Cup, as what impressed me (for a change) with the Wallabies after the Englandder game was they seemed Cool, Calm and Collected...

Why is Marto employed as a commentator?

Thank God - another person who understands that Martin CALLED FOR THE BALL!. Thankyou. (Not sure what is wrong with Healy by the way - I always rated him as a player, but I have been out of Australia for a while, now)... Warney is on his way to a Capper-like wnd -Half.

Why is Marto employed as a commentator?

Well - i think that is where I was heading - perhaps though, You have made the point much more succinctly than I was... There is a dis-connect though: that Cricket can have a McGilvray or Benaud for DECADES - with a follower base Rugby only dreams of - and the "Private School" sport of Rugby...

Why is Marto employed as a commentator?

Not really the point I was making - but I am sure you are correct... One likes to think there are people who have the ability to succeed despite the prevailing conditions. With both McGilvray & Benaud, you can hear their passion for the game - and it never translated to boorishness, or...

Why is Marto employed as a commentator?

Absolutely NOTHING to do with Former players... It makes no difference whether someone has played Test Rugby or not... It is about their ability to provide commentary - and if anyone thinks Martin and Kearns et all, are not given - at the very least, outlines - of what they are supposed to be...

    Wales v Australia

The Irish did an outstanding job against SA - and they are capable of putting on a game occassionaly like they did against us in the last World Cup... Ask any Irish supporter - they are perhaps the Team - most like the Wallabies - who are guilty of just not 'turning up' on any given day, and...

    Wales v Australia

It may be optimisim, but I am basing it on November 2014... I am not saying Wales are necessarily a better team than England - only that we are fortunate to be playing them as our last match... From Memory, I don't think we have that luxury next year... (cannot remember the order of our Pool...

    Wales v Australia

Cheika knows that for a tournament, he needs Genia, Cooper, Foley, White and as many Front 3 as he can muster ALL fit, and paying a the top of their Games - regardless of whom he thinks is his best 15....
  14. Hell West & Crooked

    Wales v Australia

And I will stick with my earlier prediction - we have played our hardest match on the tour - although I do not expect Ireland and England to be anything other than difficult.
  15. Hell West & Crooked

    Wales v Australia

Any Wallaby of any Generation will tell you that the Sweetest Tears are ENGLISH Tears, with Kiwi Tears a close second... The only significance of Wales at the moment, is that they are knocking on the door of reversing that result in any given match... most of our string of wins have been...
  16. Hell West & Crooked

    Wales v Australia

So... anyone who does no think that Wales will be providing us with a Full Cardiac Arrest Match at next Years' World Cup, is not really paying attention... I think we will need to be "across the boards & all matches, a '6-9 Point" better side than we currently are to make it safely out of this...

On a more serious note: What the hell did he do to his knees to keep him out so long - was it the C.L? - seems like the prognosis must be poor to have done that much damage to a knee and hope to come back a the highest level - I wish him luck!

    EOYT 2014

Villie was selected in the Sydney Team, which back then was a pretty fine team, capable of beating anyone on its day - selected out of the Hornsby side... I could have sworn he played a Test Match but he is not listed, so it cannot be the case.... Anyhow - whatever the case I wish him and his...

It could have been a newspaper beat-up, but it seems a bit pointless... I think he played in '81, but there has been a good deal of Bundaberg O.P. passed before the Mast, since then...
