Max Murphy was extremely impressive stepping in for Sam McGahan on the weekend. Murphy is small but knows how to get low.

Have just asked my source and I have mistaken Joseph Grice with the infamous Tom Weir apparently. Once again sorry for the miscommunication.

Sorry mate had no idea, as stated previously got the gossip from an inside prospect so not always 100% reliable. Please refrain from accusing one of "taking the mick" out of the beloved forum.

True mate! Been a valid member of this forum for quite some time but appreciate the message. I'll stay quiet next time I hear some gossip from the schools, unless that is what this forum was built for?

Supposedly GT is appointing the 10 position to young star Joseph Grice this weekend. I was quite surprised by this pick after the blinder of a game in which Max Murphy had last week at 10. Grice is a 6'3 giant (you wouldn't expect this kid to play flyhalf, looks more like a tight head prop), but...

Have to agree with NAPALM_D here, although Wilson had a great schoolboy career, I just believe there has been stronger second rowers who influenced the overall success of their team more than Wilson did.

Sorry mate I was under the impression we were going off the team Dean played 1sts for. I agree Boyle was a great footy player but Munn was far more dominate in the 3 years of firsts he played at the school. I also insisted on Nasser purely because even though he has more to give he has already...

Sorry mate but I've got Archie Xavier at 9 all day. Also prefer Charlie Cooke at 6. Move Angus Munn to 5 over Boyle and put Joe Liddy at 7. Also, I believe Ollie Nasser to be arguably the most talented and dominate forward I've seen through Gregory Terrace for much longer than the past decade so...

Not going to comment on these picks until I see a team list. Even if I'm disagreeing with them highly...

Yes, coincidentally in the GT vs TGS game, this did happen. Not sure whether it was the hooker or an actual call, but GT got called up on it. In the hookers defense it was the windiest game of footy I've seen in a long time.

Has to be something in the water up there mate, either that or these boys don't sleep they just train

Loving it, although I'm not a Downlands old boy. I've noticed a couple familiar faces. Harry Jackson obviously, my all-time favorite downlands player. Saw a video of this kid copping a knee to the head, getting knocked out then chasing down a winger and making a try saving tackle. Sorry for the...

Heard lots about Kohan over the years, great to see he's getting the recognition he deserves.

I’m saying IGS vs ACGS, gonna be a cracker of a game.

Mate don't want to jinx it but I have a feeling GT and NC will both be forces to reckon with next years, so this battle of the colors should be legendary.

Any early predications for team of the season 2024?!? Would love to compare now and then at the end of the season.

Love this pick, I've been trying to get people to appreciate this kid and his footy. Rarely misses a tackle, works hard all over the pitch and loves to run the footy.

I'm curious to what everyone's thoughts are about Charlie Cooke (Wests). I saw him play a couple games earlier this year and couldn't believe how dominate and hardworking he was for a first-year graduate. Also, a big fan of teammate Finlay King (Wests), even though Finlay isn't necessarily big...

    QLD Colts 2024

Despite Brosnan not playing all year, watching him during the early season for colts 1 he was extremely dominate in his carries as well as his ball skills. I'm not taking a shot at your pick with Latu, just saying Brosnan is always a genuine threat for this position, assuming he is fit at...
