I agree but at least you have to be a consistent starter not a paratrooper

Valetini would be my captain for this game. He earned it on the pitch. One of the few who could have been a starter in 2011 or 2015 Wallabies team.

    Argentina v Australia, 8am Sunday 1 Sep (AEST) - TRC Round 3

He's gonna be the captain for 1 or 2 games. It not make sense

Also he needs to gain some kilos to be a real threat at international level. Valetini is the best 8 but he's also consistenly the best #6. He's the best backrower by far
  6. Marce

    Argentina v Australia, 8am Sunday 1 Sep (AEST) - TRC Round 3

Not even the best number eight in my books. Valetini and Charlie Cale would be my picks for #8

What about Skelton for Tahs? Astonishing
  8. Marce

A HUGE opportunity. If he grabs the opportunity with both hands, he can take the job. There are few contenders for #12

Nowadays I have too many haters here. I'll be happy to tell you in a private chat

I've been here for a looooong time. I even wrote articles about the Pumas and Jaguares in 2016 and 2017. I had an old user that I lost, so I should have more messages here. So, yes. I remember that thread pretty well https://greenandgoldrugby.com/argentina-get-historic-home-win-against-boks/...

The 30 best rugby players in 2024

Fortunately for Aussie Rugby. Otherwise would be almost impossible to pick an Aussie

Yeah, that's the point. A random Welshman who wrote his point of view. Just how the forum works

The NFL season is from September to February and most of the teams play until January. If you are lucky enough play the only game of February, the Super Bowl

The difference with NRL and AFL is that you have to add the international competition. The Wallabies play in average 12 games per season. At least 6 of those games are at home. Do you remember the thread: "The ugly true of Australian Rugby"? Many of those users aren't anymore here. Because they are too negative to be here but the topic of that historical thread makes more sense year after year. That's all. It's not me, it's the scenario.

No way, mate. Dismal can says any ridiculous thing and people applaud him. If I find a cure for cancer, someone will question me

    Waratahs 2025

I've bought the 2008 jersey, one of my favourites. I'm so happy: I think one picture of a 16 year old jersey in the current thread is more than enough. I prefer this photo TBH. You can see the jersey better

    Argentina v Australia, 8am Sunday 1 Sep (AEST) - TRC Round 3

Could be a good option and you could pick Faamausili at 9 so you have a 9 man forward pack

    Argentina v Australia, 8am Sunday 1 Sep (AEST) - TRC Round 3

A 6/2 bench could be a good option for this clash but Schmidt never picked a 6/2 bench, not even against Boks. So I'm not sure if he's that kind of head coach

It's not my country. Actually I'm supporting Australia for this one. 2 loses in a row could be a disaster for Australia Both are my favourite Tier 1 nations
