Sorry SS your team would get smashed..think JP might be too old as well

Just.some background on these boys thats all representing your state in any sport is an achievement and a good marker of a player's standard yes true it's someone's opinion and all that but that's at GT I'm sure other GPS schools have much more talent and depth...does it mean anything as to who...

Ok some background Of the young backs in the GT first of 2018 Elekana, Siolo and Kvdb all played 6 games each with kvdb coming off the bench against Nudgee all 3 aquitted themselves well at that level and both Siolo and Kbdb were part of the Qld red 16a team that went undefeated at nationals...

Who were the previous regime invested in? they basically threw past form out the window and played boys where they believed best suited the team

    QLD GPS Rugby 2019

That's a good question honestly top 2? Probably no one I was more referring to within the GT system itself and the number of backs vs the number of positions available GT have boys that played Red u16 white u16 and Reds Academy, being in the team last year is no guarantee of being in there this...

I agree GT could surprise a few people they have talent and with the right coaching and culture shift you never know...I do think Bell may struggle he only played 10 in 16a because QS was called up to firsts to play 15, PE is the incumbent 10 and is still at school there is no shortage of backs...

Might mean the end of some experiments that went on in 2018 playing boys in positions they had never played in before with mixed success new coaches new ideas and GT could be looking at a shake up...expect the unexpected

Some questions... Who has a run down of coaching coaching line ups for 2019? Have the GPS 1, GPS 2, AIC formats confirmed as no longer in existence? Can anyone confirm the new format? i.e Met North, East etc? Who has secured "New boys" for the 2019 competition? Any genuine repeaters? Can...

Holy Sh*t is right Plenty of talent in this group and in the 15s both were virtually untouchable all tournament - Qld very strong in these age groups

I saw Gideon play last year and then again for NZ schools this year, in the space of a year his game and his confidence has grown a whole heap... so the short answer to your question is no it wouldn't have. His spatial awareness and the sharpness of his passing game stand out as improvements for...

Time for a change of topic... Not sure if this is the right forum but a glimpse into the next couple of years, plenty of GPS boys in here. Any notable omissions? That could tell us the real strength of this squad...where is Savage? Tuisamoa? aren't they 16...

It seems as though Siolo is seen as a fullback by the school selectors, where he has been lining up in the firsts, a position most pundits see PE playing ..agree with GO every school sees things differently and again next year could be something different b altogether

    QLD GPS Rugby 2018

I guess it all depends what the mad scientist is mixing up next year playing boys out of position probably didn't work too well this year

    QLD GPS Rugby 2018

Yes GO talent there alright...probably the best yardstick is measured by who did not make your list. The State high boy who has been in and out of the 1st XV is an accomplished touch footballer with great skills and can pass on the run off both hands, his kicking game is very strong as well The...

GT V BGS - Another disappointing display from GT, but hats off to BGS they came to play and did their homework, although the scores were close at the final whistle GT were chasing the whole game and never looked like winning, the BGS up and in defence shutdown GT attack til late in the 2nd half...

    QLD GPS Rugby 2018

Agree I believe that although BBC dominated the game (apart from the 5 minutes where Tce scored twice) I actually don't think BBC played as well as they are capable of, I mean the coaches would be happy with the win but not the missed opportunities and that's scary for the rest of the comp. BBC...
