    Blues v NSW Waratahs @ Auckland - 2011R09

I thought I saw Turner go a bit limp after contact was made with his head...but it was a tough call I guess.

    Blues v NSW Waratahs @ Auckland - 2011R09

So Turner gets a whack in the head from Toeva, and the TMO (and the Kiwi commentators) conveniently ignore this. Nothing is going right tonight.

    Waratahs 2012

Speaking of locks, has anyone heard how Will Caldwell is going? Last I heard he had stepped away from rugby due to Crohn's disease, but it would great to have him back.

2011 Sydney Premier Rugby Shute Shield Round 3 – 16 April 2011 EASTWOOD v RANDWICK at T.G. Millner Field (ABC TV Game, 3:10pm) Eastwood: 1. Simon Norris, 2. Bleddyn Gant, 3. Martin Plokstys; 4. Tom Alexander, 5. Josh Dunning; 6. Gareth Palamo, 7. Hugh Perrett [c], 8. Miles McCaffrey; 9. Nic...

    Waratahs vs Chiefs - 2011R07

I just don't think the Waratahs backrow is mobile enough. The Chiefs backrow, whilst being smaller in stature, ran their opposition off their feet. Whilst the extra time spent in the gym has certaintly paid dividends in tight, as a consequence whenever the opposition team has stringed a number...

    Waratahs vs Chiefs - 2011R07

I'd rather have most of the game with Waugh at captain than have the alternative: have someone else captaining for the full 80 and the Tahs performing like they did against the Cheetahs.

    Brumbies vs Highlanders - 2011R08

One of the funnier moments of the match was when Justin Marshall (I think) praised the athletic physique of Chisholm, who consequently got hammered backwards on his ass.

    Waratahs vs Chiefs - 2011R07

I suppose the fact that the Tahs have won two on the trot despite playing well below their best is a positive. Unfortunately, this may speak more to the quality of their opposition these past two weeks.

    Waratahs vs Chiefs - 2011R07

For mine, the biggest problem with the Tahs (hard to isolate just one, I know) is their decision-making. Throwing low percentage passes where the smart option would be going to ground for the quick recycle. Kicking away possession whilst in the opposition half. Infuriating stuff to watch.

    Waratahs vs Chiefs - 2011R07

Not sure I understand the logic here. If he tore his hammy you'd expect him to go the full 80 minutes? His captaincy was sorely missed the moment he left the field, and the Tahs performance seemed to go downhill from there.

    Brumbies vs Waratahs - 2011R06

I'm obviously not old enough to have lost my youthful optimism yet.

    Chiefs @ home. No dice.

    Brumbies vs Waratahs - 2011R06

To be fair louie, the Tahs tried to spin it wide in the early stages, but didn't seem to make any headway there. In the end, it was the pick and drive where they looked at their best and it ultimately won them the match. I agree, it wasn't pretty to watch, but 4 points aren't too bad to get from...

The big man with the big arms scores the try!

    Brumbies vs Waratahs - 2011R06

Tahs screw the scrum, feed to the Tahs within 10 of the Brumbies try line!

Beale with a grubber into the corner with Pakalani scoring?!?!!? LOST FORWARD WHAT.

    Brumbies vs Waratahs - 2011R06

Beale charged down. Alexander over from the next ruck. Fuck me. Gits converts. Locked up at 22 a piece.

    Brumbies vs Waratahs - 2011R06

Great counter rucking from the Tahs. Their defense is possibly the only things I've been impressed with tonight.

    Brumbies vs Waratahs - 2011R06

Beale kicks a penalty from right in front, pushing the lead out to 22-15 to the Tahs.

    Brumbies vs Waratahs - 2011R06

Barnes with his 562nd head knock. Palakatani (spelling?) on, so I assume they'll shift Beale to 10.
