Another ownership change:


WRU have now completely divested their stake but otoh NZR still have a share & may "sell" some of it back to WRU for $1 as they've done previously with Clan & Otago, I seem to recall.

Gotta wonder how 'canes lost what looks likely to be over $2Mn last season, new owners need to get the auditors in if they hadn't already as part of their due diligence.

Stadium seats look well back from the field. Paying to watch the Hurricanes in person would get old fast.
I find the stadium not bad actually for viewing, well I never had a problem. Best viewing I ever had at a stadium was the old Athletic Park, but really only if you got seats at front of top level of Millard Stand, as you looked down on it almost like a chess board. But most stadiums (unless they round AFL type are usually fairly good, but you really need to have a bit of height to see whole field.
From my understanding a lot of the 2 mill they lost was tied up in their shares of the flash new training facilities at Upper Hutt, that is the bee's knees and ABs, and everyone now use it
