What a cracka 20s game that was!

Hopefully shows some people we are clearly up for it and developing juniors, yes the massive loss to springboks but that just came down to not showing up and being ready.

Kings has also lost Sawyer and possibly their jumper Perret. They get their superstar in Risati back though. Anyone’s game still.

loss of sawyer guess you just slot Risati straight back in, Perret though not sure who they would bring up to fill his jumping role.

shame these injuries leading into the biggest game for a rugby season in a couple years, View v Kings at the swamp.

Kings and View at the top
Shore, the forgotten team like always, wooden spoon, "the defeated"
Joeys and New battle it out for the unwanted 3rd place

Shore certainly haven't been able to repeat their amazing form from last year but have had a rotten run with injuries. Hopefully players like Rex Bass, Callaghan, Galligan etc can return from injury this term and cause some headaches for other teams in the back end of the comp.

Shore only repeat seasons like last year every 50 years or so.

@Joker It would be great if we could get threads up this year for AAGPS summer sports such as rowing and cricket. I know there are a lot of members of the community interested. How do we go about this? is it possible?

Don’t think Galligan will be back, maybe 1-2 games maximum, but if that’s the case I doubt he will push an injury to recover and train for 1 game, especially in the middle of exams.

Will be exciting to see the Bassingthwaite-Callaghan combo back though.

to old boys throwing punches….
The official report found that the first punches were thrown by the Riverview player who was bumped in the back. He was then pulled away by his team mate. The review panel made up of TSC, Shore and Newington coaches studied the footage from 7 different sources which confirmed that the Joeys old boys did not throw the first punch and those who did were in response the View player,

This all should not have happened if View had put in place proper security measures.
