New to the forum, but thought I would give my 2 cents worth. Should be a good game , but backing view in this one. Shore coming of a devastating loss and still without galligan will not help. Although during the 2023 long weekend riverview did lose to shore despite being heavy favourites with the likes of grover and dillon.

Could they make a run at the top this year Jim?

It will be difficult. They need another team to beat sjc and then tas win all their matches. A more likely outcome is that tas will come in at 2 or 3. But who knows?!

Despite a challenging season overall, Shore 2nds have showcased an outstanding lineout, one of the clear highlights of their campaign. They achieved a 100% success rate in the lineout during their weekend match against Newington.

Joeys look to be the only school letting students watch both the 2nd XV and 1st XV, quite disappointing. Would love to see these Thursday games similar to the south African schoolboy rugby.

That has got to be imminent, as they are the only school for compulsory attendance for all games. Any other information on schools letting student out early. From what I know, Newington and Riverview are stuck until the final bell.

Anyone got any predictions for the Joeys v Scots 2s game

Kings years 10-12, have the option to catch a bus from Kings at 1:45, meaning they would most likely get their around halftime of the 2nds.

I saw Scots play View last week. Scots 2s ok but pretty beatable. The View seconds had a mare of a game, with lots of unforced errors, resulting in a 17-17 draw, which would have been incredibly disappointing for them, considering how they were going prior with wins over superior Kings and New sides two weeks on the trot. Joeys by 10.

Scots did remarkably well to hold on in the last 10 when View had more than enough chances to win it but spilt it every time. The way Joeys 2nds put Kings to the sword who View got over but didn't dominate makes me think Joeys by 3-4 tries in this one.

Riverview not putting any buses on is a bit disappointing. Only those with a free period at the end of the day will be allowed. Don’t think this will change the result much though.

Depends. I believe some may get there for the start of the 1sts, some later.

I personally believe it will be a close game and Scots will pull through by 5. Will be a good game with good crowd.
