THIS MUST HAPPEN a great tadition was born last year and we must keep it alive!!!

Cheers, D.B
This is the stuff I dream of at night. A packed forum hill with hundreds of forumists at a packed Ross on a sunny September day. 15a's premiership decider would be the entree into the main event at 2:15. Can't wait.

Hey CliffoXXXX
I have definitely heard of the player ELF. seen some of his games out at Northgate (BGS playing fields for those who are waterhoses), seems like a player definitely seeking recognition as he should be. constantly working hard and not giving in. He is possibly the definition of a Rugby Union Player. Love his work, you summed it up perfectly.
Just wanted to comment on your profile picture, is that really you. seems like you love a good XXXX hahaha, well in.
The one and only HSH
Mate you summed it up perfect. I love a good schooey/AKA stubby. hhahahaha, as you can see as photographed.

Thinking about wonderful work horses our great competition has summoned to the world of rugby. Could someone provide me with their top 10 most hard working, passionate and gritty forwards to be produced from the GPS QLD comp.

The Red n Black Rise
For Terrace in their Sesquicentennial Year - By 6.

They laugh when they hear the name—
Terrace.
Once a titan, now a tale.
They speak of mediocrity, of years gone still,
Of boys in red who forgot the will.

Nudgee walks with heavy crown,
Years of thunder, looking down.
Their victories loud, their banners flown,
While Terrace stood, but stood alone.

And Grammar waits atop the hill,
The postcode prize, the bitter thrill.
The clash where pride and postcode meet—
4000 roars beneath our feet.

We’ve been clowned, dismissed, ignored—
Marked by margins on a scoreboard.
But there's fire now where silence sat,
And hearts that thump beneath the hat.

This year, this time, we draw the line—
Not for stats or storyline.
But for brothers past, for boys beside,
For the crest we wear, and the hurt we hide.

We do not beg, we do not boast—
We’ve learned from loss what matters most.
And in this sesquicentennial year,
We rise—not with noise, but with gear.

Let them watch. Let them scoff.
But don’t look away when the red takes off.
For history bends when resolve runs deep—
And the lions of Gregory no longer sleep.
Mate, gotta say, Blind6side you're an absolute legend. Even though you're a true Woomba kid through and through, he still went and penned a ripper of a poem for Gregory Terrace. That’s not just class, that’s heart. Shows he’s got respect for the game and the fellas, no matter the jersey. Real salt-of-the-earth stuff. Blokes like him bring footy spirit to life—bit of banter, bit of pride, but always backing the brotherhood. Doesn’t matter where you’re from when you’ve got that much ticker. Good on ya, Blind6side—deadset top bloke. Would shout him a beer any day of the week.

Cheers Mate. It’s my passion, especially with a lot of spare time on my hands as calving season comes to an end. Expect a lot more, I plan to write one for every school even Downlands College…

Righto fellas enough's enough.

This forum’s starting to feel less like GPS rugby chat and more like the XXXX tent at the Ekka blokes half drunk, telling tall tales and forgetting why we’re even here.

Let’s park the pub chat for a bit and get back to what matters: the footy. The lads are busting their guts every weekend, and we’re here swapping stubby stories and debating profile pics?

Bit of banter’s good it’s what makes this place great but let’s steer it back to rucks, reps, and real rugby talk. Waterhose off. Footy on.

Cheers,
D.F

G'Day CliffoXXXX, SBS here,
Harper Inesio (not sure on spelling) is an exciting young centre for BGS. From what I've seen he runs a great line, looks good in space, really good to watch. Also, the centre from Nudgee is looking promising. I'm not sure of his name, but he wears a black headgear. From watching the game against TSS I think he will be one to watch this year.
Thanks legends,
SBS

never heard of him. My dribble alarm is ringing. This better not be mis-information or the HAMMER will be yielded
I Believe this Arki Fella is in the Grammar 1st XV, pretty handy when he played in the MET North Rep team a few weeks ago, Much better then his number 5 beside him that got selected for QLD.

Cheers, D.B

Righto boys the hose is rolled up, the XXXX’s back in the fridge, and it’s time to lock in.

Season’s still six weeks out, but the noise is building. Trials are nearly done, squads getting finalized, and every school reckons they’ve got the team to lift it this year.

So who’s the real deal? Any news from the paddock? Big names? Dark Horses? Which schools are humming, and which ones are all hat, no cattle?

Drop your early takes we’ve had our fun, now let’s talk footy.

Cheers,
D.F

NC, can never write them off.
Off a three peat confidence isn't a problem for these lads and they have done the hard yakka to back it up.
im keen to see how TSS improve over the season when it matters and feel like their trials havent shown anything of what they have to come.
thoughts?

cheers
big malc.
